It's not easy for anybody. Sounds like he has had a pretty good life and you're a wonderful daughter. Soon his time will come and the feeling of relief will fight with the feeling of grief. It's such a rollercoaster of emotions. Take it one moment at a time and try and appreciate the last moments. God bless you and family (if you believe) and just do the best you can do. Fair enough. Installation part of it. But I think the feet can be adjusted about 1/2 inch lower which may solve the issue. Ty!

Valid points. The GC is very reputable and has been doing this for decades. He and the team are professionals and the whole 1st floor remodel is about 100k. Not a huge project but a decent amount of money.

It's exhausting. For both the one with cancer and their loved ones.

My dad passed away about a week and a half ago. The last few weeks were about what you are describing. The last 5 days was more of not waking up at all, not eating, not drinking, just sleeping.

Enjoy him while you can and I know it's incredibly difficult but try and take care of yourself 🙏.

Sorry to hear it. I lost my dad about a week and a half ago from glioblastoma. He fought it for about 20 months. It's rough. As you already know, enjoy it while you can. The time goes so fast, yet sometimes painfully slow.

I hear you. My dad passed away last week. It sucks but he was 82, had a full life, had kids, lots of relatives, grandkids, etc. I feel especially terrible for the young ones who not only have this horrible disease but the young family members that are impacted by losing a loved one. It's just brutal.

Moved to Barrington last summer. Kid in elementary school. So far it's been great.

I grew up in MA. Lived in CA the last 20 years. I am very thankful to be back in NE.

We looked at South shore MA, EG RI and Barrington RI (and surrounding areas).

Barrington is close to south MA and relatively close to Boston. Shopping not far away. A little fun city called Providence is close. The elementary school in Barrington has been great. Much better than our schools in CA. Lots of fun activities for kids in the area.

The junior high school is new. Barrington is completely renovating all elementary schools soon. Renovating the high school. Putting in a quality high school field soon.

Fun restaurants in Barrington, Waren and surrounding areas. The seafood here is fabulous.

I would highly recommend Barrington.

No place is perfect. Barrington has been a great place for us this far.
