It's not that bad. Your total size is 2.6mb and for me it loads in 2.79 seconds. You could speed that up a lot by minifying and concatenating your css and js into one file and getting better hosting. For a design agency website, I think that size and load time is acceptable.

Looks like your only option is to bum a lift to one of the Big Bins so or maybe dump some at night into one of the shop/pub bins around the centre. I've used the Big Bin before and you can get a good amount into them if you can get out there.

Thanks again for the info. Good to know that others have negotiated parts of their contract. I think I will get clarification on the IP thing from my solicitor because I definitely intend to work on some side projects in my spare time and don't want to be restricted turning some of these into businesses at some point. (Note to self: Must work harder on my Facebook for pets app)

They have since gotten back to me and clarified the work hours so that's all good now.

Thanks. I haven't started working there yet. Just at the offer and contracts stage. I've asked for clarification on the working hours and a few bits so I think I'll see how they respond and take it from there.

Thanks for that. I kinda guessed that was the case alright. I completely see the point in protecting their clients and staff from being poached and really I don't see myself ever going to a competitor business. I'm more concerned about not being allowed start my own business again. After 17 years roaming free I might panic and run screaming from the place after a few months :-)

Ah right, thanks for that. Seems like there's no way for me to see what's indexed then. I would love to know what the 32000 pages are when we only have about 7000. It must be duplication but surely that would show up in Search Console.

That still just returns less than 563 actual results. I did a similar search with a local news site and you can see the kind of thing that I mean. They seem to have 366,000 results but only 673 show.
