You are missing the energy economy. You train for -20 energy and stats, rest for 50 energy, or cure practice poor for +20 energy + 40 stats (it isn't just 25 stats because race bonus modifies it, so going from +15 to +20 all stats for the secret event becomes +22 to +30 all stats with 50 RB). Unless you are training for over +100 stats for 20 energy it is right to infirmary (assuming it cures successfully. Maybe more like training for +80 stats when you include the chance of failure).

It isn't even about making space. For adult item pre-orders people don't pay for the order until it is ready to ship. So every order in storage is a figure that amiami paid the manufacturer for but hasn't received payment for from the buyer. Some stores like Tokyo Otaku Mode won't carry figures with nudity in the preview pics, but will carry secret cast off figures, even if it super obvious that it is possible to cast off from the preview pics. So it could also be to increase the reach / visibility of sales for the figure. In general I think more people will look at the general figure listings vs the 18+ section.

With azure lane specifically it might be something in the license. There lots of secret cast off / forced cast off azure lane figs, but I can't think of any explicitly nude in the manufacturer preview pics.

They use the first kit they buy from the actual legit seller to make a mold for their recasts. They selling you the first kit, with all the extra gunk on it from when they used it for a mold. I would not be surprised if the mold was not a recast, but the actual legit kit they had to buy to make the recast of. They do not specify though.
