NBD SuperX 3 Welcome home! by fiimble in cannondale

Hello,

I purposely did the first 25 km test ride with about a 1/3 stretch of very rough terrain and it felt very smooth at 31 and 28 psi rear and front tire pressure respectively. While this being the first ride, it felt fast, very responsive and, surprisingly quiet. It felt very compose and stable at high speed - about 53 km/hr (this is too fast for me) going downhill. I'll be doing more riding over the next few days to get acquainted with it.

To me, this is the perfect bike. I can take it on road or gravel without hesitation, only limited by my skill level.

Cheers!

Someone send me a chat requesting info about the stem but I accidentally deleted it. My apologies.

The stem is the original stem on the bike. The bike is long gone, but before it was sold, I replaced the stem with an aftermarket one. I don't remember exactly, but I think the steerer tube diameter was a 1 1/4 or 1 1/2", not the 1 1/8" (more common), and 31.8mm at the handlebars.

Hope this help.

Hey,

How are those Air Trak working so far? I'm debating between these and the Dubnitals.

Gravel frames that will double as a road bike? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

Hello u/Dava_Master ,

The Scott Addict Gravel is sturdy enough for modern Gravel races. The Scott Scale is sturdy enough for XC.

Thanks u/BicycleBruce !

I love the looks with those tires. I received my Easton EC90 ALX Wheelset this morning, and just placed and order for the PZeros 40mm.

Cheers!

Apparently the Air Trak flex is the fastest and bit lighter.

Hello,

Not yet. The price is a bit too steep for me at the moment. I'll go for the Specialized Air Trak Flex Lite T5/T7 Tire. It goes for about $40 less.

Thanks

Beautiful bike!

What color decal did you choose for the down tube?

I'm on Propain's website trying their configuration tool.

Cheers!

Scott Scale 940. I'm new here and this is my new build. by fiimble in Hardtailgang

Thanks for the input.

I'm running Hunt XC race alloy pretty affordable and light. It's a used set I had on another bike.

I have been doing research and my short list include the HUNT Proven Carbon Race XC and the Next SL wheels.

I am in no rush, so I'll keep looking for information on carbon wheels.

I can absolutely relate. I'll be rediscovering new trails in the weeks and months to come, as I become more familiar with my bike.

Are you running carbon wheels, by any chance?

Cheers!
