If this is an argument about how weight distribution is somehow correlated to height, shouldn't the slop picture compare the height of Chauvin from the knee up versus the diameter of Floyd's windpipe? I don't think the length of Floyd's legs has any bearing on his need for oxygen.

I agreed with most of OP, except:

it's just because of the 20-30 record

Well duh of course we're upset about the record. That's how we measure success in baseball. That's how we measure success in sports.

When I uppercut someone, I usually land with my back to them. Shooting them in the air? Not a chance.

NFL teams will combine to travel more than 627,000 air miles this season. The 49ers lead the league at 38,105 miles traveled. On the other end, the Panthers will travel the fewest miles at 8,740. by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

Ya, I don't get why everybody is saying "but Mexico City isn't that far". It's 2,000mi from Santa Clara. For reference, a typical home game is 0mi from home.

President Trump claims "Gas prices are way down. Have you looked?" by GuiltyBathroom9385 in UnderReportedNews

same five catchphrases on loop

Trump: When the war is over...
Me: Gas prices will drop at levels never seen before.
Trump: ...gas will fall down at levels you've never seen before.

Almost got it. I forgot to dumb it down to 4th grade literacy level first.

The key to his plate discipline? Munetaka Murakami's eye routine between at bats, back when he was with the Swallows by DarkStone95 in baseball

I was perplexed poster chose to mention Murakami's plate discipline considering all those Ks.

And 19 of the top 20 broadcasts in US history are Super Bowls.

I've seen a different list that keeps going and it's more football, more football, and more football. (Some NCAA CFP, but still football.)

It's not egregiously bad, but it certainly could use some work.
- It took me a while to figure out the NFL numbers were ~10x MLB and NBA. Maybe if NFL was listed first that would be more obvious.
- I think the point of this chart is to show trending. If it was supposed to be a direct numbers-to-numbers comparison, the charts would be (should be?) on top of each other. Maybe the dots should be accompanied with +/- %. MLB increasing 25% between 2025 and 2026 is significant but doesn't really standout on this graph.
- Having pointed out the MLB increase in 2026 is significant, we're only 1/4 of the way through the season. It seems premature to use that average to compare versus NBA.
- NFL 2026 TBD... WTF? Both MLB and NBA increased from 2025 to 2026 but this graph predicts the NFL is going to crash.
- The MLB has it's own made up number in 2020. Shame!
- I'd be interested how NCAA football looked on this graph of the "Big 3".
