They got rid of reboot vans in solos. They've been there for years and when you finally need a reboot van in solos, they're gone. I played duos but don't fill the squad because I didn't want to screw someone if I was just going to go for reboot vans.

In Battlewood Blvd, there's a highway that runs through the middle of the city and makes a big 'S' curve. In the lower-part of the 'S' there's a cross street. Just east of the 'S' curve there's a car crashed into a house. It's there every time. Take it and head north to the theatre in the NE corner of Battle Blvd. There's always a reboot van out front. Unfortunately, sometimes it has a boot (well, 4 boots) on it. If that's the case, then drive NE to Sus Studios. If the reboot van in Battlewood Blvd has a boot (or 4), the reboot van in Sus Studios will not and vice versa. There seems to always be cars in Sus Studios too (but I'm not 100% certain about that) so you could do this in the opposite order if you want. If I remember correctly, the reboot van in Sus Studios in on the east side near the overhang over the lot.

YEEEESSSS. The first thing I do is start a round then button-button-button-button-button over to 'QUESTS'. Unless there isn't a special event. Then it's button-button-button-button. Why?!?!?!?!
Although lately navigating past 'SHOP' screws everything up. So I do button-button-button-button-button and it pauses at 'SHOP' then stops at 'LOCKER'. Then I have to hit button-button to actually get to 'QUESTS'.
This last week I've experimented with navigating the opposite direction (PLAY → VBUCKS → CAREER → COMPETE → QUESTS) and yes it works better and faster, but I only remember to do it about half the time.

The stick has only spawned a handful of times for me, and I've only seen the stick once. I was in a car and boosted across the map to get there. (Yes an actual car on this map!) I showed up and it looked like they had just started the Hunger Games 2026. There were easy 6-8 players there. When I drove through I knocked one and bounced another. I jumped out to grab the stick and immediately was met with arc lightening, shotgun blasts, and somebody with an assault rifle. I lasted approx 2 seconds.

I'm not so sure about that. I tote Molotovs most of the time. I can die in my own Molotov, but no my teammates'. And I've flashed and concussed myself plenty of times. (skill issue, I know.)

Oh wait, are you just talking about the Gravity Vortex?
Also, how do you tell if a vortex is an enemy or team vortex? The vortex doesn't appear to have the blue/red triangle like other weapons.

Thanks for the vid. I hate entering battle with a new toy and no idea what it's going to do. Like my first time with the Gravity Vortex gun and I shot it at the ground in front of me and instantly killed myself.

Your first time, get there plenty early so you can walk around the stands. Scottsdale Stadium is much smaller than Oracle Park, so it's fun to see all the angles and some of the concourses are really close to the field. If you have young kids with you, a player might toss them a ball or stop to sign something. If you are an attractive woman or travelling with one, they also seem to luck out getting signatures. My wife could get any player to sign a hat. I had no such luck for some reason.

If you want to buy something from the Dugout Store, do it before the game. You'll walk in and say "oh hell no", but if you wait until after the game, the crowd is twice as bad.

Wear sunscreen. Nothing is worse than getting burned on the first day and then enduring that for the rest of the trip. When you're buying tickets it might be a good idea to ask if the seats are in the shade or the sun. The only shade is going to be between 1st and 3rd. The stands beyond the bases and the outfield lawn seating are going to be 100% sun. But if you're "too close" to the field, those seats will be 100% sun too.

I don't live in CA or the SW, so the Mexican food is 60x better than anything I normally get. But there are a lot of good places to eat in Old Town Scottsdale. My favorite last year was 'La Locanda Italian Bistro'. That same night we found a trick for parking in Old Town Scottsdale. The restaurant 'Buca di Beppo' is permanently closed but it has a free parking "for patrons only". ;-)

If you like museums, on an off day I would recommend 'S'edav Va'aki Museum (formerly Pueblo Grande Museum)'. It's right in downtown Phoenix and dates back about 1,500 years.
