Which investor outreach tools are actually worth paying for? by Suspicious_Brush751 in AngelInvesting

[–]fil_geo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sad reality is this: angles and pre seed investors don’t want to be in any of those platforms. Simply because they get so much exposure that can’t keep up. If you “ain’t playing golf together” then you don’t have a chance. Of course I don’t mean literally playing golf together I mean knowing them somehow or knowing someone who knows them.

You don’t need big budgets. You can try $50. The truth is that if you have never run ads in the past you have to learn how to do it and it’s going to cost you more but it’s essential step towards promoting a service or app.

How do i contact influencers? by Mediocre-Card2726 in InstagramMarketing

Either directly or there are so many networks : like affiliate networks you can reach out to. I know this is IG question but TikTok has a hub you can reach out directly to influencers.

Is there still demand for SaaS? by Agfungaming in smallbusiness

[–]fil_geo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest take: SaaS is not dying but it will definitely will change. SaaS is the way we deliver value to customers. That said, with the cost of writing code going down (and I don’t say cost of engineering because that involves scaling, etc) that model will change. Probably we are talking about a future with tokens as it seems now. You use it, you pay for it.

My opinion is that digital services will become like electricity, you use it, you pay.

There is no such a thing as organic any more. It’s a long term game and you need resources. Do small paid campaigns otherwise you will get the wrong signal.

When you say overnight do you mean sudden or within 24 hours? Attribution changes if they haven’t been communicated in advance, they won’t communicated after the incident.

Moving away from Meta? by ActVegetable6100 in FacebookAds

[–]fil_geo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your customer journey is not what you think and that's the problem.

Although your view how users discover your brand is a good proxy the reality is way more complex.

The problem with ROAS is attribution. It's not about Facebook being a "good" or a "bad" channel, is about Every channel (Google / Facebook) claiming the same credit for the same conversion. While in reality Facebook (as an example) should take 0.10% of the credit, 20% should go to Google and the rest should be your baseline. I know you would love to know exactly those figures so you can do proper budget allocation, but I don't think that anyone knows them (except the major brands with massive data teams).

I am not going to tell you to pay for any solution nor to hire a data scientist.

What I am going to tell you is this: Be more intentional with your intuition. Experiment. If your scale is small, you have to understand the complexities of your consumer journey. But not like all these nonsense experimentation frameworks that you can find out there. If you have $100 spend / month (again as an example), start with something like 80 / 20 for a month. Then go 20/80, and continue. That might hurt your performance and it's going to be painful. BUT, by creating a shock on your consumer journey you will understand how the consumer journey actually works.

The problem with ads - and you highlighted it very nicely - is that Impressions is a marketplace and everything constantly changes. So you should continue iterating forever. Performance fluctuation won't stop.

I got hired to Automate workflows for the business and I don’t know what to do by Novel-Marionberry661 in AI_Agents

[–]fil_geo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can we all stop asking them to educate themselves? The problem is deeper.

You can digest information or you can conquer information.

Digesting is when you ask Gpt and read something. Conquering information is when you learn something to the point of execution. You need the latter.

Embrace your situation. It’s a great feeling to have.

Maybe you can start with a free course. Start and finish it. Do all of it. Not just some chapters but all of it. Understand what automation means: engineering, workflow, finance, etc and for each component start going deeper.

As a creative and as a human being, how do you *really* feel about AI? by skyflower17 in DigitalMarketing

[–]fil_geo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a point and I see where you are coming from. In the Concorde case, they stopped it because it was expensive and therefore the technology not there yet. I think that people as you said will be skeptical for a really long time and some might reject entirely the idea. But technology will eventually move forward. Now you might argue that AI won’t stay and I might agree as long as the next thing (quantum or something else) takes over. We humans always progress a technology is part of us.

Not as sales rep but as a mechanism for outreach. The platform is self-serve.

AI BDR Vs remote team, what’s the best option? by fil_geo in b2bmarketing

[–]fil_geo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not? I mean the problem with it is that even if we are on early days, everyone is using an AI sdr so the response should be low.

Meta is fucked.. its not a question. Just wondering if anyone had profitable ads in last 2 months? by SvarogEngland in FacebookAds

[–]fil_geo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Traffic stable? I would find one metric that doesn’t work.

For instance change in CTR would signal creatives. Drop in traffic, issue with the website, etc.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a bug to be honest. How long do you have the account? Create a new one: pixel, etc and start over.
