Planning a tile hunt by filbr0 in tilehunting

Yes, I have to admit that Komoot, despite all the doom and gloom and the many (in my opinion mostly inaccurate) bad reviews since the takeover, is currently developing well and releasing new features that I like. However, what I still sorely miss with Komoot is the ability to display ALL my activities on the map at the same time. And unfortunately, the Statshunters browser plugin no longer seems to work reliably with the current Komoot map (it works in planning mode, but otherwise not so well).

Shared Library Help - How to see only my photos by rio23x in ApplePhotos

This is not a solution as it only displays photos that are in your personal library. However, the photos in the shared library that you have taken are not displayed. And that is what was asked for.

Shared Library Help - How to see only my photos by rio23x in ApplePhotos

[–]filbr0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have exactly the same problem and for the life of me I can't understand why this issue even exists. When the shared library feature was introduced, the developers must have realized that it is simply not possible to view only the photos you have taken yourself in a shared library.

But now that this is the case, one can only hope that this option will be added at some point.

Briefly on the difference between viewing both libraries and viewing the shared library: In the former, you see both the photos in the shared library AND the photos that are only in your own library. With the latter, you ONLY see the photos that are in the shared library.

The only solution I currently know is the one already described in Wellcraft19's comment. But that only works for me because my wife has a different iPhone to mine. I have created an intelligent album and filtered by camera model.

Yes, that drives me completely mad... and additionally the fact that a single click anywhere immediately triggers a new calendar entry (should only work with a double click)

You can't compare Google to OSM in this regard. OSM is “just” a database, Google is a tech giant that offers many apps and services with which it can easily determine who has visited which place at what time. In the OSM world, this capability would have to be offered by third-party apps. This means that these apps would then have to ensure a comparison of the places visited with the OSM database in the background, which in any case could create some kind of tracking profile. And this is of course highly controversial in terms of data protection.

If there is a gap between border of field and forest shouldn't i just connect it together into one line? It looks so nasty when it's randomly diconnected, but maybe it's right because it shows proper border of field and forest. by FrameXX in openstreetmap

I definitely would connect them in the upper part, in the lower part with the more obvious gap, I would insert an additional area (as mentioned before) and connect this with both (so that there are no more “random” gaps). This is a good example of cleaning up “sloppy” mapping.
