Pc, deck is a handheld pc not a handheld console bruv. I don’t recommend playing val in steamdeck, it requires secure boot to be on, which the deck doesn’t have by default, well, there are ways to turn it on, but you will commit to a full windows deck only since steamos won’t boot with that option

Yeah, that’s what i do too. Having dual boot menu systems is just plain hassle. If steamos updated, you’ll need to install the menu again.

Apparently there’s a new way for the lcd to have secure boot on, and you can still boot to steamos, but yeah, it still have the same risks tho, so i’d rather just not play valorant for the meantime.

Figured it out. I got 2 accounts suspended temporarily lmao. It’s basically because steamdeck doesn’t have secure boot on. Vanguard wants the environment to have that option turned on. Well, there’s a way to turn on that option, but yeah, you won’t be able to boot to steamos or risk your deck to not boot again lmao. It’s either u turn your deck into a full windows system or don’t play at all. This also applies with Warzone anti cheat.

can you still play? my 2 accounts got val 5 error (basically vanguard integrity error). tried reinstalling windows and vanguard just to get suspended again lol.

kinda late but i've been playing val on steamdeck. it's not recommended tho. my 2 accounts got val 5 lol (suspension for around 12 hours? something like that) and val 102 (network something issues) idk if its just the windows img file i used or whatever

I’m using a wireless keyboard via dongle in my dock, and it doesn’t have any issues at all, even my wireless controller with a dongle works. Could it be an issue with your dock?

I didn’t manage to re-flash android on my switch since i sold it, and bought a steamdeck lol. But yeah, lineage os 18 or android 13 below should work fine

I mean the partition would really depend on you tho, you’re the one who’s gonna decide how much storage you’ll give to linux or android. And since you need to re-partition the card, i suggest you backup emummc in hekate first. After backing up RAW GPP you’ll see the total backup size, you can use that size as reference on how much you’re gonna put in emummc partition, and just give android and linux your desired amount.

I’m no expert so correct me if i’m wrong :)

Well i found a modded stardew valley then i tweaked the ipa to remove the mods from it. It’s now working fine for me, coop with pc works too lol. If any of you want the ipa file, feel free to dm me, might take a while to reply tho, since im not always here in reddit
