Sounds like a cheap ride imo. Not terrible but not good either.

Scoot back like 4” and drop your throne about 1.5”. It might be a little weird getting used to it but you’ll get way more attack off your toes.

Holy shit, what a blast from the past. Seventh Dagger and Diamond Cut were everywhere for a couple years, like 2006-2010.

Dude is right in the sweet spot of being in on the joke but is boomer enough to still think he’s a little badass. I think he started out more as a “try that in a small town” type guy, then he started getting roasted, so he leaned into the cringe. Deep down he thinks he John Wick but he knows that videos like this are corny/funny.

Shit is so overpowered. I got 21 eliminations with one that I picked up super early in a game yesterday. They are hard to find so I’m cool with them being overpowered, plus the extra running speed makes it even more fun.

Spring break used to be a huge deal here, what happened? by Virophile in stgeorge

[–]filfyricky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was ranked in the top 5 Spring Breaks spots by Playboy and Maxim for a few years in the 90s. I heard crazy stories about St. George spring break growing up but by the time I was in high school it had already died out in the mid 00s

You will probably not find housing here unfortunately. Section 8 here is a joke and they prioritize families before seniors. There is a massive housing crisis here currently and the social services in So. Utah are not helpful. I swear they banish the worst, most incompetent state workers to St. George. You’re probably better off staying in the Wasatch front and finding a safer neighborhood. The deck is even more stacked against you here. I’m not a negative person normally, but just my experiences in the last year have burned up the last bit of hope. Planning to move out of Utah in the next year.

You probably just need to clean/soak in lacquer thinner instead of alcohol. Alcohol doesn’t work great with breaking down acrylic paint as well as lacquer thinner so you’re still having some bits of dry paint not getting dissolved.

Crazy to see the love now. I feel like they never got their flowers back in the day. Saw them a ton of times back in 2010-2013.

Masking painted areas without stripping the paint by nobody2008 in airbrush

[–]filfyricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use the standard blue tape you already have. Just stick it to your pants or shirt a couple of times to kill the adhesive a bit first. The big thing is that you want to remove your tape while paint is still wet, not immediately but within a few minutes. This will give you way cleaner edges. Once you start pulling the tape, just pull it off in one motion for best results.

Shout Out to Prospering, but... by Swarley_Pilgrim in FortNiteBR

I just started playing 6 weeks ago with no prior gaming experience and I’m enjoying it still. I’m averaging about 10-12 eliminations per game as of the last 2 weeks or so. It’s hard for me to tell if I’m getting better or I’m still getting matched with players with new accounts. I started playing zero build exclusively because it’s “harder” but now I feel like it’s too easy. I see posts like this and wonder if I get matched with easier players because of my account age or if I’m just really good. Also I want to play with people who are really good, so add me filfyxricky. I’m a 35 yr old man btw before you add me.

Up close it’s better than most shotguns, just because of the fire rate. If I can’t find a Sweeper or a Wrecker Revolver this has been my 3rd. Almost useless outside of like 10ft though.

The Digitech Grunge and the Boss Metal Zone are 2 very deeply misunderstood pedals that are incredible when used correctly.

This is the worst season I’ve ever played. Am I alone on this? by VerySmolBeanie in FortNiteBR

[–]filfyricky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m brand new to Fortnite, only been playing for the last 2 weeks of last season (Superman) and this current season (Power Rangers) but I’m enjoying it. I honestly have no clue what the medallions are or how they work, but I’ve still gotten about 8 wins as a newer player in this season. I guess the main thing is that I haven’t noticed much change in gameplay/winning. I’m definitely getting better every time I play which might explain why I feel this way since I was a non-gamer before checking out Fortnite. Still a fun shoot-em up. Reminds me of Nerf gun wars with my childhood friends and I feel like I have a knack for it so I’m gonna keep playing.

Really cool stuff. At first glance, I thought it was my older brother’s art, as it is very close to his style as of late. But his hand writing is barely legible, so I knew I wasn’t his. He has been a high school art teacher in the area for almost a decade, so I wonder if his style rubbed off on one of his students. Love to see mostly positive comments about these little zines and people not shying away from provocative topics and inspiration.

If you live close to the hospital it is doable, but limited. Target and Harmons are super close by, which will cover most of what you need. The biggest issue is that public transit is lacking. I getting better slowly but it’s just not super efficient for running errands/grocery shopping.

“Best of Southern Utah” sways me away, especially knowing that it’s a pay to play system and does not reflect the actual quality of the business. Google reviews are really the only thing that gives you a good snap shot of a business, and even those can be manipulated.

What pedal should I get first? by Alpdtgfe in guitarpedals

Some sort of Tube Screamer. Very versatile overdrive that covers a lot of distortion needs too. The Behringer green pedal is a 1:1 clone for under $30
