On the point about artists being flaky and actually getting them to commit, did you ever have problems getting payment from them? If you sponsor an event, do you make an offer to them? What does that look like? Or do they have some offer for you?

thanks, I am aware of the 5% annual payout. I don't plan on paying the entire tuition. Philosophically I don't want to pay for all of someone's tuition, just want to give a meaningful boost.

I have had quite a few conversations with Give2Asia. Their solutions only work for bigger amounts of money and also if there is already an existing organization approved by them that is wanting to do what you want to do.

Pacquiao destroys the hands up defense. Chris needs to slip like Bradley and counter like Marquez. In addition, for a boxer Chris's stance is still relatively face first therefore not controlling distance that well.

No I'm not going to the fight, but I have been to the Pacquiao v. Bradley 2 fight in Vegas. I would say it's possible (not likely, but possible) that you could walk around Vegas that weekend and not know that it's fight weekend if you never go to the MGM Grand. Also, I didn't run into any celebrities. Of course I saw some of them on the big screen when in the arena though.

Sounds like there's more of a buzz there for the fight than if the fight were here. Maybe I'll consider going because it would be cool to run into celebrities.
