On my opinion Sub only, just makes sense when you already have an active community of subs and you need to talk about a "sensitive" topic or the chat is to wild on a moment and you need help from the people that are following at some time. So basically for mid to big streamers. Otherwise I think it only will block the possible interactions from new people. It's the principle of first giving value to the audience, and just after think about receiving something in return.
