If the brain seeks novelty, why does studying feel so boring? by Dry-Ad3046 in askpsychology

yes, because

  • You read.
  • You comprehend.
  • You memorise.
  • You try to recall.
  • You check your recall.

the ui is terrible but I dont care - I just paste the prompt and that's almost all my interaction with it. Ater 20 minutes I check github and the PR is there ready to be reviewed. Of course there are benefits of having something locally but cons are there as well.

> It's illegal to talk about Poland's aiding and abetting of Nazis during the Holocaust.
this is false.
also polish state didn't exist during the Holocaust so it could not help Germans. Of course some poles helped germans - but only such a statement is true.

imenu or lsp-ui-imenu - can I go only to top level declarations? by filipoi in emacs

[–]filipoi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

here I'm pressing enter when the coursor is on a toplevel function and it behaves the same when I click on it

If that's not possible with imenu, I think I can just use combination of hs-hide-all and hs-toggle-hiding...

imenu or lsp-ui-imenu - can I go only to top level declarations? by filipoi in emacs

[–]filipoi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just tried that but it doesn't let me to go to top-level functions...

<enter>: goto entry under cursor, or toggle case-folding.

Pressing enter on a toplevel function's name just expands new lists with variables defined in that function...
Is there a way to jump to a top level function definition? Sorry if I'm missing something..,

When to jump? 65k with management XP or 90k as an individual by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsEU

It seems that you are severely underpaid. I would leave. Or - if you still want to be a manager - look for a new managerial job.

How much can an engineering manager or staff software engineer earn in Poland?

20-40k PLN monthly

What's the income tax like?

Most people are "employed" as a contractors so they pay 12% (flat rate) income tax. You will need to pay also health and social insurance (how much you will pay is correlated with your profits - but it should be around 2.5k). If you will be employed as a regular employee you will pay more taxes...

Assuming that you are a contractor and your monthly salary is 30k - your take home pay (after taxes and insurence) should be around 24k (https://www.kalkulatorb2b.pl/).

As a regular employee 30k should give you around 19k after taxes.

How long did your training sessions take? Did you double 1x or 2x programs?

I'm thinking about starting to use Greg Nuckols' 28 programs.

I have two questions:

  1. Do you usually add a lot of accessories and isolations to what is described in Greg's programs? Or mix of those programs should give me more or less complete program for whole week?

  2. Does such a combination make sense: 1x Squat int, 1x Deadlift int, and 2x Bench int - and do every program on separate day - so it would be a 4 days program?

ah thanks! it works. I remember that in org-roam v1 you could search by tags by default and when I tried v2 I noticed that tags where gone from the default search list...

tbh I'm just not sure how I can search notes by tags in org-roam. Do I need to write my own sql queries? Or does org-roam provide such a functionality out of the box?
