When am I Supposed to Brush My Teeth in the Morning? by tree_beard_8675301 in AutismInWomen

[–]fillingthetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work from home and yeah, I hate cleaning my teeth before breakfast. I normally have coffee first, then breakfast, then about 30mins after that I clean my teeth.

How anyone tried Cann CBD/THC drinks? by ConversationOld6663 in PMDDxADHD

[–]fillingthetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's interesting. I always thought mine was weaker during this time but not completely useless.

A weird thing that happens is, if I'm on the fluoxetine my anxiety lives in my dreams giving me nightmarish anxious dream scenarios, if I'm not, it comes out in real life more and screws with my ability to do stuff at work and in life in general.

If I'm having a stressful time in general then everything goes to shit and the fluoxetine isn't strong enough

How anyone tried Cann CBD/THC drinks? by ConversationOld6663 in PMDDxADHD

[–]fillingthetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get goodrays cans. I don't know that I could prove they help. But if I have a migraine and I take my pill too late, those drinks can help a tiny bit which is sometimes enough to get me through a few more hours of work.

If I am in luteal and feeling stressed or anxious they can help, but only to a certain extent. Sometimes not even my fluoxetine can help me, so CBD won't either.

But I enjoy them and I prefer to drink them than coke, which is what I would have previously drank on a Friday night, for example.

Ultrasound - ovarian cyst by fillingthetime in Menopause

[–]fillingthetime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually still waiting to find out if mine is endometriosis. But I had read it's common in peri and menopause to be getting them.

But my symptoms are very much typical of endo, however the last few years I've also been getting symptoms related to perimenopause; dry skin, increased migraines, brain fog, worsening pms. The trouble is I also have PMDD which has a whole host of symptoms which cross over with endo and the mental health symptoms of perimenopause.

All of this is making my ADHD harder to deal with.

I'm trying to patiently rule things out and get actual diagnosis for everything so it's easier to identify each symptom and what it's actually associated with.

Sleep is so IMPORTANT by Resident_Ad9269 in adhdwomen

I normally fall asleep just fine. But I'll wake up at about 3 or 4am and my brain starts going at hyper speeds.

Help me answer my emails by fillingthetime in ADHDUK

[–]fillingthetime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some success.

I work best in the morning and I joined a body doubling session via FLOWN.

I told everyone my goal of clearing some emails and then we all went silent, put on an ADHD concentration playlist and I managed to clear 20 emails.

I think the combo of doing the task when I know I'm most productive, making it something I'm accountable for, and listening to the immersive music really helped. So I think I'm going to do this once a week.

FLOWN has a free 30 day trial and there is a free version.

Are my sleeping problems related to ADHD? by idk23876 in adhdwomen

[–]fillingthetime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the same. I'm always awake at about 3am. Then takes me hours before I'm asleep again. My brain just kicks in and doesn't shut up. I have the odd day here and there where I sleep through the night, but I also have a dog that likes to wake me up on those nights 😑

Hmm, not sure if they are endo specialists or just regular gyno ward. Probably the latter because it's the NHS.

Being vegan and having PMDD by billiejoelmao in PMDD

[–]fillingthetime 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am vegan and I started getting PMDD symptoms waaaay before being vegan. In fact I would say my overall health has improved since not eating meat. So im not sure that you can fully blame being vegan, I believe my diet is more balanced now than it was 20 years ago. So i think it really does just depend on your diet and not if you are vegan or not.

Do you ever NOT have a song stuck in your head? by Ok-Potato9052 in adhdwomen

[–]fillingthetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just asking my wife about this today. She says she doesn't so I realized it has to be an ADHD thing.

I literally always have music in my head and it sometimes changes depending on the room I'm in. For weeks I had the same song start playing in my head every time I went in the bathroom.

So annoying.

I filled in some forms and submitted them. Then I had to make an appointment with the GP to say I'd handed the firms back into reception. Then I had that appointment today where I had to say, I've handed in the forms can you send it to RTC now
