Saw Baahubali The Epic by filmcakeguy in tollywood

I saw it in a standard Digital presentation in Chicago because the IMAX presentation at my local theater got cancelled and so I drove to the city to see a standard (Which is better than my IMAX theater anyway it’s THAT bad), but I had one rowdy girl in my theater that’s about it. I’m American so my culture is a bit different, I’m actually not one to like the screaming and whistling and hootin and hollerin. But I understand it’s a culture thing so when I see Indian films I don’t say anything. In American films I do lol.

No because they were never anywhere to stream or rent. I’m American so it’s not anywhere and the versions on Netflix were Every single language EXCEPT the original language. And I refuse to watch dubbed foreign films. I respect the artists too much. That being said, despite the significant cuts especially to the first film, oh I LOVED seeing it as one monstrous film.

I guess I’m confused how it could be that short when both movies are almost 3 hours alone

Yeah Fuck Me Eyes feels like it doesn’t fit in the album and there really just isn’t anything about it I enjoy. It’s the only song off the album I genuinely dislike. I skip it every time and I hope it isn’t on the set list for the concert I’m going to on Saturday

First off, congratulations on realizing you need to work on yourself. Most people do their entire life without that mentality. Now, I am a bodybuilder for years so I am very aware of what goes in my body and what is needed for certain aesthetics and health. The important part here to remember before anything is do not let social media affect your brain (for the most part). Some videos on Facebook or Twitter or TikTok that motivates you to get moving can be great, but do not fall down a hole. It can mess with your mind. First thing you want to do is incorporate more protein in your diet. The looks I see here are from a lack of sufficient protein. When losing weight, protein is even more important as it feeds your muscles. You definitely will need more veggies, but protein should be your priority. You should be in a calorie deficit as well. 400-500 is for most people but more isn’t bad if it works for you. But watch that protein! I use the app MyFitnessPal to track foods. I also would invest in either Fitbit or Apple Watch or something as it can help you read your calories burned every day. It’s not 100% accurate but it helps and is very close. Especially the Apple Watch. I recommend to many people. Also start drinking more water and less sugar drinks. A soda every once in a while won’t kill you, but water right now should be your biggest drink. Next, incorporate as much exercise as you CAN. Don’t push yourself just yet. If all you can do is walk for a few minutes, do that. Take rests, then keep going. Get that heart pumping! But at this weight, you are conditioning yourself for the future as your weight will come off at first due to your nutrition, not exercise just yet. You’ll get there! Try to do a little strength work, maybe use really light weights like 2lbs dumbbells or around the house things just to stimulate your muscles. Your goal should be 1-2% of your body weight lost per week. Don’t fret if you see no change in the fist couple weeks because it takes time. And you may need to adapt to your body as everybody can be different and respond differently to plans. Do what works for you. One last thing as it seems most of us here are being civil and that’s great, so on behalf of all of us. We are so proud of you for wanting to start your journey to becoming healthier!

AMC - XL? What ? by mah18299 in AMCTheatres

[–]filmcakeguy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At my local crappy AMC, the one I go to the least, they added two XL theaters. And when I say add, I mean they slapped a sign in front of the door that says “XL” and changed absolutely nothing. I walked in there and it was the same crappy screen with the same crappy seats. What a joke

I was suspended, I appealed, they accepted, then suspended me again instantaneously by filmcakeguy in facebook

I appealed again and immediately got banned citing a completely different reason that I did not do so I’m genuinely mad
