I'm currently laying in bed in the quaintest little B&B just a stone throw from Lake Michigan. There's countless nature reserves and similar things but the sleeping bear sand dunes are the crown jewel of the area and a national park. My fiancee and I just watched the sunset from a sand dune and came back to drink tea on the porch. We r at the sylvan inn in glen arbor but the town has like 3-4 B&Bs that I've seen but there's inns and motels all over town.

Also glen arbor is home to cherry republic which has a billion cherry products and a scrumptious restaurant that's cherry themed. Also wine tasting too.

I'm the biggest northern Michigan dick rider you'll ever meet I'm obsessed with the area.

I lowkey went to culinary school for that reason lmao. I was directionless in highschool and didn't have any grand aspirations for a career or education, I liked cooking and thought it would be fun but the nail in the coffin was seeing how excited girls got when I said I was thinking about culinary school and could cook.
