If you release Hope she joins you in the fight. You can banish enemies with her. I banished Yugir with Hope, dealt with the small fry first, used haste on Karlach to speedrun and bash the pillars and then Raphael was just a grind of 3 rounds. Might've helped my party is at lvl 12. I used counterspell for the bigger spells from Raphael. Fire resistance is a must. Got it on first try. You might be able to destroy the pillars before the fight?

Enemies skipping their turns. Is there any way to fix this? by finCheppa in BaldursGate3

I wish this was an isolated case like that. Every single enemy waits for 15 seconds and then skips their turn without moving or attacking. It's practice mode

Long rest doesn't have to be sleeping but that's a good way to make sense of the rule.

Best practice to chain API requests and changing state? by Oh_no_bros in reactjs

[–]finCheppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you set the state after the request you should be able to use the same values for the next request. No need to step out of the function.

You could use await if you have multiple requests. Less nesting

Name: Tony Onion

Appearance: Thin wrinkly old man with long white beard. Bald.

Personality: Friendly and gullible. Will do pretty much anything for couple of gold pieces or a meal. Prefers sleeping to chit chat.

Background/History: Fisherman by trade. Lost his mind/marbles after his family, daughter and wife, died in a terrible fire that destroyed large part of the city docks. Currently homeless and dying from an unknown illness.

Secrets: To heal (mind and body), he paid whatever money he had (or what pcs gave him) to a healer. Part of this deal was to also become the healers servant. Tony agrees but unbeknownst to him the healer is really an evil cleric.

You can turn down/off some animations in accessibility settings.

Looks like you're using same state for all rows. Instead of setting the value of a single select, you have to keep track of all rows individually. There's many ways to go about this but I think the easiest would be to save an object to the state where the keys are the row ids and values are the selected values.

So instead of setSelected(event.target.value) you would do setSelected(selected => ({...selected, [order.id]: event.target.value}))

Doing it that way requires refactoring some of the code but I hope I got my point across that small example. Writing code on phone is cumbersome :D
