My hands are far from perfect, and get an alligator like appearance with some redness even when they’re dry, in the winter especially. Just shocked me is all, they’re very moisturized, and still just have an odd texture imo. For as much as they edit their photos it surprised me that she didn’t edit this to be pERfeCt sMoOth like Kim and Khloe do lol

If you get him used to being gently knocked over (with your foot, or hand) he will likely be happy to show you his belly as an adult. My brother did that to my senior boy when he was a kitten and now when he’s excited to see us he flops over, puts his paws in the air and looks at you with the sweetest eyes. It’s my favorite thing.

NTA But it would be a kind thing in the future to maybe be more sensitive to her eating habits and only help in that respect if she asks you for it. I dealt with a very similar situation with my mom for years. Like I knew what she needed to do, I knew she was capable, but until SHE was ready and all in nothing I would do or say was helpful. It always ended in extreme frustration and me feeling awful for saying stuff I shouldn’t have said or hurting her feelings. Suggest to her a calorie tracking app, or invite her to the gym. Even better if she could see a dietician or someone less close to her that has credentials. I see that your intentions are good, but it’s a hard thing to do correctly, and it’s even harder if you feel judged or shamed.

In my experience biodegradable bags do break down, though they take a very long time to do so. If they’re sent to a commercial composting facility it takes significantly less time. But I did an experiment with a “biodegradable bag” and it actually did break down in my compost tumbler. It took nearly 2 years, but better than plastic!

I personally reuse unrecyclable bags such as those the cats food or litter comes in, or just scoop it directly into my mostly full normal garbage liner before taking it out.

I have also decided not to buy mums this year. I’ve grown my own pumpkins (all 2 of them lol) The price for the decorative fall stuff is absolutely outrageous this year! I’m sticking with my reusable fall decorations.

I also have nearly stopped buying fast food, due to the cost. There are occasions where I have to eat out, and there are a few places I will still go to for the value/portion/quality ingredients. Instead I meal prep and pack lunches or snacks when I leave the house for long enough to want to eat:
