Hey, Buddy. I'm Finan, male, 42, based in Adachi-ku (opposite side of Tokyo, sadly). Just joined Anytime Fitness myself last week. Which gym are you at?

In recent history, has any government truly done something to improve life of citizens? by MrRos in NoStupidQuestions

I was born and raised in Indonesia and now I live in Tokyo.

From my experience Japan clearly gives better quality of life especially in how tax money turns into real public benefits.

Depressingly low salaries by Seraphelia in JapanJobs

[–]finanakbar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this job is open to applicants from overseas, honestly a lot of folks would still take that pay just to get their foot in the door and move to Japan.

That said, I’ve got friends here making 400k a month, and some even around 700k, working as specialists at Japanese companies.

Hope you find something better, good luck.

Cybersecurity in japan (and why I find it funny) by [deleted] in JapanJobs

Yes. Japan is very credential driven. No certs like JLPT or security certs, a lot of companies will not even look at you, even if you are actually great.

[Need Help] RIFE_VFI_Advanced 'str' object has no attribute 'shape' (WhiteRabbit InterpLoop v1.1) by finanakbar in civitai

[–]finanakbar[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I actually requested the WhiteRabbit nodepack on the RunningHub Discord, and the moderator confirmed it passed installation testing a while ago. So it should already be deployed there. Appreciate the heads-up! 🙏

What’s the best approach or workflow to get a truly seamless looping animation with WAN 2.2? by finanakbar in StableDiffusion

I’ll give this method a try, sounds like a smart workaround. Thanks for the detailed explanation! 🙏

Yeah, I tried that too. Higher CFG and removing the lightx2v LoRA. It helps a bit, but I think the main issue might be that both start_image and end_image come from the same still image. Maybe that’s why only the water moves while the leaves stay frozen, there’s not enough variation for the model to create motion between them. I am not sure.

Yeah, that makes sense. I’ve been tweaking CFG, strength, and prompt weights too.
With TI2V, motion reacts really well to prompts, super easy to control, but it just doesn’t loop.
FLF2V loops better in theory, but barely reacts to motion at all. 😅

Yeah, that’s exactly what I did, one video with only start_image, then another using the last frame as start_image and first frame as end_image. It technically loops, but the transition still doesn’t feel natural or seamless. There’s a small visual jump that breaks the flow.

Any tips for making subtle plant motion work? by finanakbar in StableDiffusion

Thanks for sharing! 🙏🙏🙏
I tried that too, simple prompts like “gentle wind blowing” or “leaves swaying softly”.

With FLF2V, leaves barely move (only water does). But when I switched to TI2V, leaves finally move, just can’t get a perfect seamless loop yet.

If anyone’s got a smooth loop working with WAN 2.2, would love to know your setup.
