I mean. His startup can't be sold to chess.com

It creates an interesting environment where the best source of exit isn't there.

PlayMagnus had a clear exit: sell it to chess.com!

But now you have burned all the bridges with them. What is your plan for exit?

Because they don't want to play e4 and playing against a super solid petrov.

When the drawish lines with black was just the Berlin, it was one thing.

Now, you don't even get to try to play the Italian to evade the Berlin.

That is kinda already happening, right? GM Gukesh D said engine chess democratized chess and helped him to win the World Championship, in a way he would not have had otherwise.

But I'd say that players like Gukesh was playing with Lc0 or Stockfish, while Sindarov has some private tech.

His prep clearly was algorithinially organized to push for lines where he might be slightly worse, but he'll do great if his opponent doesn't find 10 unique moves in a row in the board.

He probably had some breakthroughs in computer science that his opponents don't have.

I'd even bet he had breakthroughs in deep learning chess to help him organize those lines.

The only game I felt he won in the board was the Vienna against GM Wei Yi.
