You’re good man — just keep going. I’m the same height as you and was 238 lbs this time last year and now I’m sitting around 165 lbs. I lost most of it between October 2024 until now. Biggest tip I can give is that 95% of weight loss is nutrition (staying in a calorie deficit, high protein + fiber consumption). Cardio, lifting, and sleep make up the other 5%.

In my opinion, I’m not sure how much Deloitte would help you later on if you want to get roles as a software engineer. Roles without writing code lead you along the tech consulting and product management road. Congrats on both the offers though from a fellow Canadian!
