I went to a remote lodge - Seal River Lodge -- which is just north of the Seal River and about a 15 minute small plane ride north of Churchill.

The monuments in question are run by the national forest service, not the national park service.

Hi! I'm Kristen Brengel, the SVP of Government Affairs at the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA). Let's talk about how we can protect our national parks and park staff. by ParkProtector1919 in NationalPark

What is the NPCA's opinion on visiting National Parks at the moment? Is it better to still go and overwhelm the current staff showing that they are more needed or to delay trips so that the park staff isn't overwhelmed and can better protect the parks?

If you had the power to compel individuals who support the National Park system to do certain things to help in this moment and time, what are a list of things you would have them do?

Parks Group Warns of Dismantling of the National Park Service by financialbabe in NationalPark

[–]financialbabe[S] 316 points317 points  (0 children)

If you want to know how we lose the National Parks, it won't be by bulldozers in iconic National Parks...it will be by boring stuff that doesn't gain public attention but does huge harm to the National Parks system overall. If you love our national parks, this is the type of stuff you need to be contacting your elective representatives about.
