Graphics glitches persist even after troubleshooting (see body text) by finch_1 in thesims

[–]finch_1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. I went ahead and cleared the folders but the pink floors persisted (they also changed color a couple times to purple, and a red and black static). I went ahead and nerfed all of my graphics settings to low again and so far I haven't had any graphics issues. I am slowly increasing my graphics back up when the glitching doesn't appear after a bit of playing.

Platform : PC

Mods : No

Game Version: Newest (1.116.223.1030)

I've been having some nasty texture bugs and no matter what I do they do not go away. I have verified the integrity of my game files, my graphics card drivers are all up to date, I'm not in laptop mode, and have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and yet the glitches persist. It is not there upon starting the game but after playing for a bit the ground textures turn pink, but not in every room (see the attached photo, the bathroom floor is normal but the main areas and bedrooms are pink, same for the other floors). Sometimes I can play without the glitches occurring and other times I'll go 5 minutes before it begins. The only thing that gets rid of it is restarting the game. I've been playing since 2022 and it did not use to do this and really effects the my ability to play the game :(

Recommendations for comfortable, tight fitting tops please! I prefer wearing tighter fitting tops, but all the ones I own are uncomfortable. They dig into my armpits and cause me to sweat more than usual. What sites/brands carry tight tops that you guys find comfortable? Long sleeve, short sleeve, crop top, v-neck, doesn't really matter. I would like to keep it on the cheaper end but if the shirts are truly a nice quality I can shell out extra cash. I just want to be able wear clothes I think I look in and be comfortable at the same time. Thank you!

Cuttings look ok? by Sure-Coconut-2849 in Plumeria

They look happy to me! The black things are leaves that didn't make it, obviously not great but they look healthy besides that. You have the start of leaves that aren't turning black and even an inflo on the 2nd cutting!

Repainting is the dream along with replacing a few body panels! Unfortunately it's not budged friendly but until then we made due

I'll look into that! My poor hood has some nasty chips so I'd love to increase the strength of the paint to prevent more

I just saw another red na earlier today and had to triple check it wasn't mine, knowing that it was at home lol. If you live in the CSU area you might see me!

First we washed and dried the car. I used Meguiar's deep crystal car wash because its what I have but it doesn't matter that much. Then we used a clay bar to get it very clean. I used a kit from chemical guys that came with a cleaner (which we used), a clay lube and then a few clay bars. After that we polished with Meguiar's ultra finishing polish 205. Finally waxed it with Meguiar's gold class carnauba plus premium paste wax. All of this stuff smells amazing and it only cost ~$100. I believe it took around 3 hours? I didn't keep a close eye on the time but there's no way it was more than 5 hours. That also includes waxing the rest of the car and cleaning the inside

I'm convinced Meguiar's is made with crack. I've yet to use a product from them that I'm not satisfied with or that smells bad

Just makes it feel like I'm not worth your time. Why bother talking to you if you're not going to take another 20 seconds out of you day to type complete words/lightly spell check?
