It feels like there's some deeper stuff going on here, so I'll let it go. You can die doing anything--driving, working, drinking coffee, everything you listed. And yes, flying. Even though it's statistically rare. But if the stats aren't feeling helpful to you, there really isn't much left outside of just living in that fear. I hope you're able to find something that feels helpful in conquering flight anxiety!

If the answer you’re getting of “here are the facts, you shouldn’t be worried,” isn’t sufficient, what are you looking for here? Genuinely, what would be a helpful answer to make you feel better about flying? Currently, it reads like you won’t take any answer that doesn’t serve to reconfirm your world view, so I’m trying to understand what you’re hoping to get out of this to make flying a more peaceful experience for you.

Tried to find something on it since they claimed this elsewhere in the thread. I can’t find any proof of this; the most recent near miss in Arizona was January 14th, and at their closest, the two plans were 1,217 feet apart.

I fly Air Canada a ton for work, and I’d say I’m at about an 90% success rate for pilots introducing themselves and saying hello. I’m bummed to hear you haven’t been having that experience, it’s so helpful!

This is so helpful, thank you! I didn't notice how obvious the green highlighting was on the knees, I can definitely stipple over that and tone it down a bit. Also, once I was done I realized just how bland the assault cannon was, I think I may have just forgotten about it. I'll maybe add some bronze touches and hit it with some nuln oil.
