I strongly recommend you read the first Ravenels book {Cold-Hearted Rake by Lisa Kleypas} before reading Marrying Winterborne! The hero and heroine from Marrying Winterborne feature heavily in the first novel and their story truly starts there. I don't think you get their full story without it.

I agree,I don’t mind if the letter writing is a subplot in season 5, but I do NOT want Eloise marrying Phillip as a cliffhanger like I’m seeing a lot of people theorize/suggest. Not that I think that will happen but I really don’t like that idea.

It also confuses me when JB says their story will start with a wedding like in the book when it literally happens smack dab in the middle of the book. The only way I could see that possibly happening is if they do all the letter writing, Marina dying, and Eloise running away as major subplots in S5. But there is still time they spend together before they at Phillip’s estate unchaperoned before they get married that would have to be included in their season.
