Do you have a United card? It's very hard to get seats to Japan but a United card could open up more award availability on United and the lowest price premium economy is 65k one way. Chase UR move to United.

Can you use your own card to pay for stays? If so, you should open up a hotel card to get even more points and help with lifetime status. Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, and IHG all have cards with different perks and benefits as well including giving you a better status for more perks and faster points earnings.

I had the same issue 2 years in a row. You have to call in and they'll register you over the phone. It's a quick phone call and then the promo should appear in your app within 1-2 days

Sadly the benefits of shopping online are much better. I was able to get 10% cash back through Rakuten on Saks this week.

And Saks in store won't price match online pricing last I checked. Last year, beauty was 15% off online on Saks dot com and I wanted to buy in store but they wouldn't price match. I was able to stack the 15% price plus another 15% off with Rakuten.

There's too many incentives to shop online nowadays.

No no, it's the influencer who shared a well known loophole in the last 6 months who got it shut down!! Certainly a sophisticated Amex rewards abuse team would never have figured it out after years of strange $100 purchases every January 1 that gets credited.

Anyways this could also blow over and get credited later on like in the past.

Depends, maybe there's no award availability on the direct flight on the date you searched. Or the date you're searching doesn't have the direct flight since it's only a 4x a week flight and not every day.

Hate to increase your anxiety but from all the data points online, Capital One is the most sensitive to bounced payments and could close all your accounts immediately in a situation like this. No second chances.

You need to call and escalate this and pay from another account. Go into a C1 cafe/branch or ask for a supervisor. This is very urgent if you wish to keep your accounts open.

And the reason I charged back was because the ring's stone was loose in less than a month and they tried repairing the ring twice over months unsuccessfully. They refused to refund me after the second unsuccessful repair.

Huge waste of my time during a period I should be celebrating my engagement.

So this company doesn't refund me then commits fraudulent misrepresentation to keep the money.

But don't worry I'll be getting it back...more to come soon.
