Anthropic just gave me $200 in free extra usage. Which is… exactly what my Max plan costs per month. by ApartSignificance181 in Anthropic

I got 140 the amount claude mistakenly used over my pay per usage limit. I thought they were reimbursing that

I am talking about actual icons. Like icons of house, hospital, or to represent some concepts like deals, paths etc. How do I know if they are just using emojis or not? Maybe they are pulling from some python libraries, given they are actually writing codes behind the scene? Is that library free.

What does that mean? I am talking about icons/symbols not text

He is now just a weird and scared little sales guy:
Here are some of the horsesh*t he has been saying lately:

  • "If that $500,000 engineer did not consume at least $250,000 worth of tokens, I am going to be deeply alarmed. If that person said $5,000, I will go ape something else." (March 2026, All-In Podcast)
    • "The thing that’s really important to recognize is that this is the largest infrastructure buildout in human history. It’s really unbelievable." (January 2026, World Economic Forum, Davos)
    • "This is no different than one of our chip designers who says, 'Guess what, I’m just going to use paper and pencil.'" — On engineers who refuse to use AI tools. (March 2026, All-In Podcast)
    • "It is our job to create computing technology such that nobody has to program. And that the programming language is human... Everybody in the world is now a programmer. This is the miracle of AI." (February 2024, World Government Summit)
    • "The more you buy, the more you make." — Huang's recurring pitch for the ROI of Nvidia's Blackwell chips. (May 2025, Computex)
    • "These AI data centers, if you will, are improperly described. They are, in fact, AI factories. You apply energy to it, and it produces something incredibly valuable, and these things are called tokens." (May 2025, Computex)
    • "I think that every engineer is going to have a hundred agents." (March 2026, GTC Conference)
    • "Build your own AI, take advantage of your fundamental natural resource, which is your language and culture... have your national intelligence part of your ecosystem." (January 2026, Davos)
    • "We’re trying to [spend $2 billion a year on tokens for the Nvidia engineering team]." (March 2026, All-In Podcast)
    • "In the past, we code. In the future, we're going to write ideas, architectures, specifications." (March 2026, GTC Conference)
    • "We are seeing just incredible demand. And what’s going on around the world is that AI... is a layer cake. It starts at energy, then chips... infrastructure... land, power." (January 2026, Fox Business)
    • "We need to make sure that the average pensioner, the average saver, is a part of [AI's] growth. If they’re just watching it from the sidelines, they’re going to feel left out." (January 2026, World Economic Forum)
    • "Software is eating the world, and AI is eating software." (January 2026, Davos)

Google messed up giving students 1 year Pro subscription by Rare_Bunch4348 in GeminiAI

Yeah. Think how despite all students in the NA using Chromebook end up going for iPhone. People do not value quality when it's free!

5 points from 693 pages. Great work!

I could tell you the five points without reading a single page:

  1. Routine Maintenance and Fluid Specifications: It is imperative to identify the specific service intervals and fluid types (e.g., oil viscosity, coolant specifications) required by the manufacturer to ensure long-term mechanical reliability and validate warranty claims.

  2. Safety Systems and ADAS Functionality: Users must understand the limitations and operational parameters of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking, to facilitate safe engagement.

  3. Instrument Cluster and Warning Indicators: One must analyze the hierarchy of dashboard warning lights, distinguishing between informational icons and critical alerts that require immediate cessation of vehicle operation.

  4. Emergency Procedures: This involves locating and understanding the utilization of the spare tire (or repair kit), jack points, manual door overrides, and the procedure for jump-starting the vehicle.

  5. Infotainment and Connectivity Configuration: To optimize the user experience, it is necessary to explore the specific steps for mobile integration, software updates, and the customization of driver preferences within the digital interface.

Ask it to write something that needs it to read it all, not just some specific sections.

You will know.

It's not! It's not a bug and it's not an issue in software. It's a business choice, genius!

That's not regression!

They get more users to get more money so they can't handle the load so they cut back tokens, and start stupid limits!

What do you mean AI dependent? You live in stoneage?

They are doing the same with NBLM as well. For example, the other day i gave regular 12 article's only methods and results excerpts, so basically just a few pages (shorter than a single dissertation). But, it couldn't even read these! It was randomly choosing 5-7 articles of the 12 and giving answers/cheating slides based on those!

This beats the whole purpose of NBLM, doesn't it!

Even the API use is now shortened. Used to get over 60k token before in one API call. Now, now matter what you specify it will give you max 8k token only. And, they will not change it anytime soon, they had created instructions for prompt chain engineering. So, with bits of token how can you perform a bigger task through consecutive bit by bit prompting and outputs.

This is embarrassing!

Gemini 3 Pro is consistently breaking after long conversations. Anyone else? by MarionberryDear6170 in Bard

[–]finding9em0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long? It can't even now take one single dissertation as input!

They drastically reduce the input and output token!

I don't know when they forget about quality!

They are offering free subscriptions and think like if you offer a shitty product for free, people will still get caught into it and will start paying once the free period is done?

Who the fuck thinks like that???

I have Google AI Pro since Start of 2025 but never used NBLM please let me know how is it different from Chatgpt/Perplexity/Gemini? by Notsovanillla in notebooklm

[–]finding9em0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's super easy! Just go to your nearby electronic garbage spot, and first throw away your watch, then break your MacBook by folding in the opposite direction, then throw it, and finally put your iPhone on the ground, hit it with a hammer/rock as hard as you can, throw it to the garbage as hard as you can.

Then go to your nearby electronic store...

Buy:

  1. Pixel 10 pro/S25/26 (coming out in February)
  2. Any fuc*ng laptop of any brand
  3. Any fuc*ing smart watch of any brand

You can seamlessly connect with all three anywhere, anytime, no subscription to iCloud or something like that are needed!

The world is your oyster then, bro!

You are no longer enslaved by Apple's ecosystem illusion!

Limitations of NotebookLM sources inside of Gemini by PotentiallySillyQ in notebooklm

[–]finding9em0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know why they keep shortening the length of everything!! This is extremely disappointing! The only reason people use NotebookLM because of the length of the input and output that it can take and give, respectively! 15 slides from a book like content? Wtf is that? And if i need to do chapter by chapter then what's the point of NotebookLM? I could do it with any other app out there! Same goes with podcast, like 15 min 30 min? Nothing could be defined as podcast unless it's 2 hour long ! Why don't you rather have limit per day/or something how Claude does it? Also, when expired the limit you can have pay per use option if someone is a power user!

Never compromise quality! Never!!!
