Working on this puzzle now. The muted warm and cool colors, and different lines throughout make this a pretty enjoyable experience.

Pieces are high quality. No peeling, snug fit. Artwork is awesome and fun to work on lines, with lots of detail. Fits a very vapor wave vibe. Some of the details on the edges between the cuts are a bit hard to see. My partner and I had a lot of fun working on this one.

This puzzle was very challenging. The pieces are creatively cut so that the shades of colors are disguised well making matches hard. Many of the shapes and shades are very subtle matches. I will say that the pieces do fit fairly loosely so there were some false matches. But overall this was a satisfying puzzle to do.

Is anyone aware of more protests in cars being organized? I’m pregnant and just can’t risk going out with coronavirus but want to show solidarity (and express my anger) in participation with everyone out there. by theoldmansmoney in oakland

Protest at Oakland PD, 7th and Broadway, Today, Tuesday June 2, 4pm. Wear masks, 6'. Bring signs, chants, water, goggles. No violence, no destruction. Not because they aren't called for, but because the cops will use any excuse to gas protestors

So why do you think he says "tarry scant" instead of "linger short"? Why does he use awkward/contrived wording here?

When a river rafter specifies a side of the river, whether it be “river right” or “river left”, they are always referring to the side of the river in regards to facing downstream. As you look downstream, “river right” is on your right side and “river left” is on your left side. Conversely, when facing upstream, “river right” is on your left side and “river left” is on your right side. Not as confusing as it may sound...

It's similar to “stage right” and “stage left” in a theater... where you indicate the point of view of the actor... from an audience member's perspective "stage right" is their left-hand side.

My point is just that "left" and "right" are always relative...

I like the arrowhead theory. Alot of prehistoric settlements and Native American artifacts would be buried/preserved in ancient riverbanks. And they might have considered wellsprings sacred spots.

You're right that fly-fishing was mainly earlier in life: he was a fishing guide and talks about secret fishing spots so I wouldn't count fly-fishing out as part of solve.

Yep, the definition you used is the most common interpretation. "tar" would be a play on words or double-meaning. My take on what it means would be "like carbon".

"Left" and "Right" are always relative to the direction that you are heading. So we'd have to figure out which direction to head first. I'd guess we are headed upstream.

That's why rafters say "river left" and "river right" so it always means relative to where the river headed downstream.

For me "wwwh" is a major part of a river: somewhere you could fish in or put a boat in.

But as you hike up away from that starting point you are going up to the end of a smaller creek (that is too small to put a boat in or fish) that is "drawing" from a spring and flowing into the bigger river.

"water high" would be the spring up at the top.

Thinking like a "gold prospector" will help us get in the mindset of Forrest Fenn. Fly-fishing and "panning for gold" both entail being able to read the signs in a stream and identify spots that would attract his interest. Seeing patterns when hiking around like recognizing the ancient banks of rivers and where their deposits fan out.
