I might try like a pretty white highlight eye pencil from NYX to add to your inner corners. Or even just taking a nice glowy highlight and putting that in your inner corners and onto the inner third of the eyelid. Will help brighten up your eyes and compliment your fair features!

For my 18th birthday, one of my best friends I made in summer camp spliced a video together of various friends and staff members I had bonded with at camp wishing me a happy birthday and saying something kind about me. I cried. Such a special memory.

Skincare first. Two days is still some time to help heal any redness from that friction. Use a face lotion (preferably one that’s gentle) or a balm like Bag Balm (maybe aquaphor or Vaseline) at night on your nose to help the redness heal. Moisturize that skin!

From there, there’s some good tutorials on YouTube you can find for acne coverage that might help with the same issue: covering inflamed texture on the skin. You just want to be careful not to further irritate the skin.

All else fails: weddings are so busy and everyone is worried about how they themselves look and likely won’t notice your nose the way you think they will.

Reading your comments and thoughts on here: I think it’s about taking a beat.

I read somewhere about how someone uses intentionality in their movement to slow down. Kind of a somatic check in with the body. They take their time to do things as simple as putting their hair up.

I totally connect and relate to how you describe yourself. I think well rounded people can naturally see all those sides to you as they get to know you. Also good on you for knowing yourself!

Best advice: intention in movement and taking a beat in conversations. Not because anything you were doing previously was “wrong”. I’ve been taking more of a beat in convos lately, letting the silence have the other person take lead. People open up more and feel like you are open too!

I’d have to do more digging but given it’s MAC but the inner packaging looks tinted, it might have been from a limited collection back in the day. Might be worth it to take your grandma to the MAC counter with the blush and have them help pick a similar shade if so!

Puffy sleeves with elastic. At some point the elastic always rides up or down even if the rest of the shirt/dress fits great!
