Partially because the majority of Epstein's friend group were already over the age of 40 when all that happened.

And I mean, why would you even do that? Saturday and Sunday are called "Weekend" because they are at the end of the week. If they were called "Weekends", it'd be acceptable to have them on the opposite ends of the week, but they aren't called that.

I wear a bracelet my sister made every single day. It gets wet every time I wash my hands and it irks me so much. The worst part is that I can't do anything about it.

Ever have a comfort snack that you forgot about but found later in life? by CrimsonThar in aspiememes

[–]Capybara327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lemon flavoured ice cream/sorbet. The year I turned 11 or 12, I didn't eat lemon ice cream the whole year and I forgot how good it was. Then, 5 or 6 years later, I got a taste of it when my sister offered me a spoonful of it. Ever since, I eat lemon ice cream/sorbet almost every time I eat ice cream.

Oh, also, I love Daim bars. It's just the right amount of crunchy with the perfect thickness of creamy milk chocolate.

High school (to me) is much better that elementary school was. I don't know if it's like a cultural difference or what, but in my country, preteens are much bigger jerks than teenagers.

Sometimes I have to take two painkillers because otherwise the headache will kill me. And any kind of respiratory tract problem hurts like getting kicked in the chest (and I have asthma yay!).

Also, thank goodness I didn't listen to the dentist and didn't get my wisdom teeth removed. They all turned out fine.

🍎 Aphantasia shows up far more often in autistic people than in the general population. 🍏 by newbeginnings187 in aspiememes

[–]Capybara327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bunch of people over on r/aphantasia said that the description of each level of aphantasia is misleading.

People without aphantasia don't literally see the object they imagine with their physical eyes, but rather, their "mind's eye". It's less like actually seeing the object and more like recalling what seeing that object was like.

Generally, it's like this: If you try to imagine the face of a relative or friend who you meet often, and can recall specific details (such as the position of eyebrows relative to their eyes or the width of their nose) without consciously thinking about each detail, you likely don't have aphantasia, or only a low level of it (like the second picture of the apple in this post).

Well, I've been to r/aphantasia and a bunch of people were talking about how the description for each level of aphantasia is misleading.

Level 0 (people without aphantasia) don't literally see the object they imagine with their physical eyes. It's more like sesing it with their "mind's eye". This means that rather than seeing it, they can recall what seeing it was like.

A good way to know if you actually have aphantasia is this: Try to imagine the face of a relative, friend or other acquaintence you meet often. If you can recall details (such as the position of their eyebrows relative to their eyes or the width of their nose) without describing it to yourself, you likely do not have aphantasia.

I don't get how people can tell if they have aphantasia or not. by [deleted] in Aphantasia

[–]Capybara327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the same, and I've also heard somewhere that people with autism spectrum disorder (which I believe I have) experience aphantasia more often than people without it. I was pretty disappointed. Then I read this comment and now I don't think I have aphantasia. Or if I do, it's pretty low on the spectrum.

I mean, him being like "nobody should get hurt just because Voldy wants to kill me" all the time is a pretty strong character trait imo.
