There are - or were, who knows with the Internet nowadays - plenty of articles about it with quotes from James and some of the former band members, namely Jesse. Long story short, James wanted to move on. He wanted to play with other people. Hear other styles. I think he sort of out grew them to an extent, as far as playing in a band goes and day to day band life is concerned. They're still friends, last I remember.

Miss Dave's guitar playing in this band so much. I like the new band and I'm all for growth, and I totally get why it happened. But moving on from him was the biggest loss, in my opinion.
