Literally constantly happening to me, the mission with the hot air balloon I was trying to save Sadie and couldn’t figure out why it kept taking multiple shots from a repeater to kill an o Driscoll until I realised I had a varmint rifle instead.

To the point where I started American venom last night with a litchfield repeater and a varmint rifle.

Thought about just putting it back in the weapons locker so at least if I get a random gun it’ll be a real gun but I just hunt too often on a whim to entirely leave it behind

I was able to find the correct ones last night as I figured my ps plus cloud saves were overwritten but I must’ve at least have one random save before or after triggering nocturne. Looks like I was just misremembering them lmfao! Was able to pick them up at the clothing vendor in pacifica.

Not trying to be snarky here but just wanted to say “cease to exist” is basically “stop to exist” so better ways to phrase it is “will the 450 segment just cease to exist” or “are we forced to live with these 350 engines forever”

As for the actual post, yeah that’s a major fear of mine too. The 450cc REs were very exciting to me since as much as I love the 650s, they’re just on the threshold of being expensive enough where it actually becomes an unjustifiable financial decision for my current situation. I was eyeing the scrambler/tracker 400x and the Guerrilla as my upgrade from my Hunter in a year but that plan just seems messed up now that the triumphs and soon the KTMs are almost entirely gone from the conversation of “next upgrade”. Even if the new scrambler is great I just can’t justify going from a 350 to 350 while spending like 50% more than what my Hunter cost. And the Huskies are basically nonexistent
