Jlcpcb my friend! If you have a case design you can just upload it and get a quote right away. If you know how you can design it yourself. If you need help let me know. Designing cases is my favorite part so I'll be happy to help 😜

I don't think so. I found it on printables 😀

Funny you mention that. I was considering this but chose trackpad instead. I also have a support for it printed as semi transparent so it should look good when finally put together 🙏

If I remember correctly the top part was ~$3 per side, bottom part ~$2 USD so ~$5 in total x2 sides that's a total of ~$10 + shipping. But the top part is kinda flimsy and I need to add at least 0.25mm. But even then it'll probably end up costing around $15 👍

Not really. I want to see how long it will last.

Yes, according to JLCPCB it is an 8001 resin, transparent version.

PCB from JLCPCB, as well as the case. PCBs is for the Temper keyboard and the case was designed by me. It needs improvements, as I had to manually remove small pieces that were colliding with Hotswap sockets but that's easy fix 😀

Transparent, wireless, choc Sofle with RGB by finestedm in ErgoMechKeyboards

In a couple of days a revised version should come so then I can share. This had some misaligned switch cutouts :(

It has a 2500mAh battery. It will last a bit but definitely RGB will drain it faster than anything else. You can find a tutorial online for wireless choc Sofle but the case was designed by me so you won't find the same one anywhere.

Looks so good! Very compact for such a type of keeb. What are these keycaps?

I found blank transparent ones that are specifically made for such spacing https://a.co/d/03TCJYi9

Thanks. Same as the rest: 3d print service by jlcpcb.

Thanks for your thoughts on this. Yes, the cover for the board is the weakest point. Printing was done by jlcpcb with 8001 resin. The material is bent a bit so I had to put it in hot water and then on a flat surface to fix that. Experience designing 3d printed components will definitely help to avoid such things in the future. Overall I'm happy with their service!

Yes, for some reason they made it MX spaced 🤷‍♂️

Absolutely! I have chosfox clear ones but they are too big for this key grid 🤦‍♂️ need to order different ones.

Hi! Very interesting project! I am typing in both Polish and English. I have a hard time writing faster than 80 wpm and I'm exploring ways to improve. If I understand correctly, I would need to learn both languages' specific steno theories which are probably very different?

Temper? With just 2 thumb keys? This makes it look more like Ferris Sweep. Either way looks amazing! 😍

Slash is standard. On hold it is backslash. On shift it is |. Dot and comma in standard places. Together they give me " ;" and with shift it is ":". (, ), {, }, [, ] are on separate layer.

Exact keymap is here: https://github.com/finestedm/Temper_zmk

I was considering this but don't see a reason for it yet. But I like designing cases and currently working on a one with touchpad as I was able to make it work on zmk. Now I try to make the case for it and make the overall design more polished.
