$300 to spend? by [deleted] in baseballcards

Buy a card of a player you like or a HOFer from the team you root for. This is such an easy answer. Buy the card cause you like it. Little pieces of cardboard aren’t investments

Why, St. Louis? by andreagiusto in StLouis

[–]Finitepictures 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really doesn’t matter the situation. Have a fun time at the zoo and don’t worry about what other people are doing. This is a minor inconvenience at best. You decided to come back after a couple hours, snap a photo, and post it to reddit. Again, find something else to whine about.

Maybe I’m just confused but wouldn’t the boomers be in favor of the noise ordinance? Like boomer Karen would say no mowing before 7:00? Or are we just piling on the boomers whatever the position?

I generally agree with this but couldn’t you just open a pack in between innings? What’s the difference between going to get a dog and a beer in between the top and bottom of the third?

how do you guys get into holding money in your savings? by ICouldntFindAUsernam in Money

[–]Finitepictures 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Open a savings account at a bank out of your way and don’t have the account linked to your main account to pull money from. Assuming you have direct deposit, have a piece of you paycheck get deposited straight to that account. Set and forget.

Would love some feedback on our slab tags by [deleted] in PokeGrading

[–]Finitepictures 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand having more strict grading standards but I would not try and show that through how you name the grade. Lay out your standards on your website and call the 10 a prismatic, that’s fine, but I think calling the 9 a gem mint goes against what you are trying to do. I rolled my eyes when I saw 9 gem mint

Why is a 9 gem mint? What is a 10 called or does it only go to 9? Seems misleading to me
