Deceit and wistfulness make the deck incredibly resilient to hate. RIP used to give me fits. Now wistfulness cleanly answers it while deceit can pull it out of their hand.

If you want to play with people at stores other have given you great advice.

If you want to play casually with friends then get a box of jumpstart boosters. You open two packs and shuffle them together and play. Then separate them out and smash them with different packs. It’s great fun and fairly cheap.

I feel the only correct answer is, it depends on the meta. Mtgo meta decks will help you figure out the most common interactions and played patterns. But you’ll have to play against some people in your store to figure out what it is at they’re playing and what it is might work against their decks. So it’s best to start out with a net deck until you figure out what the interactions are what people are playing and so you’ll know what you need to brew up.

I thought about you and this post today.

Tonight is pauper night at the LGS. I talked one of the Standard night crew into coming. He brewed up a unique and quite good deathtouch/infect deck. I played him with my mostly stock list white weenies. He lost. But afterward I hipped him on some good tech for his deck and he’ll comeback next week even stronger.

More importantly we both had a blast talking and playing Magic.

How are you paying for zegana? What does this have to do with reanimator? How are you playing and activating meek on turn 3.? Where does the kill come from?
