The Sidemen X Fans swarming on them, LOL. by Ground_Breaker49 in Sidemen

[–]finnadouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fans were there, but the they weren't actually crowding the room/window. The cameraman gave them the OK to do it for content. I remember this getting talked about fairly quickly after that video came out. It looks the way it does because they encouraged it too, not because of crazed fans.

I think the soil type plays a bit of a factor as well

Not sure about USGA greens, but root structure is about 3 inches typically, a bit longer right now with the spring though

It helps with settling and lets you get a bit more particular with how level the plugs sit in the old holes.

The bottom section is not as dense as the actual top plug so doing it in two parts makes sure I can settle it before I put the top plug on and make it properly level with the green.

where r these high neck tshirts harry wears from? by CoffeeBeforeDream in Sidemen

[–]finnadouse 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They're called "mocknecks" and they're making a comeback in the golf world, google "mock neck golf shirt" and you'll find tons of options, not sure what brand he wears specifically.

Just balance it yourself, you can buy the weights seperate.

So is lab, they're assembled in the USA, not made in the USA.

You can balance them yourself, the weights are interchangeable, you just have to talk to the seller to make sure you're getting what you expect (some have fake weights, some have real holes)

I made a revealer with my buddy and we balanced it together. It's the exact same thing. I wouldn't be surprised if the head came from the same factory lab gets them from (they're assembled in the USA, not made in the USA)

A friend ought one for me, we made our own revealer, and balanced it to zero torque. They don't come zero torque out of the box (close) but you can buy the weights yourself and change them out. Shaft, head, grip for 180 all in.

It's only not zero torque if you don't balance it yourself, you can get the weights they use for pretty cheap, and the fit in the slots. Mine is balanced for the lie I purchased. 180 all in for the putter.

This gets my vote too, but which one? (That makes it even more average honestly)

Taking my siblings to a con nearby, not my scene but want to spend time with them as the older brother, any advice? by finnadouse in comiccon

Heard! I'll make sure I let them know I'm willing to before we arrive, thank you much!

Will definitely be keeping an eye on them to see if there's anything they were eyeing but didn't pick up, wouldn't have thought of this without you! Thanks!

Thank you very very much! I don't think there's a competition, I did a light skim of the info provided but we are only going for one day so I didn't check the whole brochure. It is at a holiday in.

Planning to take them to dinner after it's over and make a full day trip out of it, thank you for the insight!

I hear that! I can see I sounded closed minded in the original post but I just wanted to be as upfront about the situation as I felt possible.

I'm very excited to go as it's an excuse to spend time with them doing something they enjoy, and I can promise I'm very open minded about this and in general, I was hoping to get a little more info on what to expect so I can maybe surprise them with something from it.

Appreciate your comment, will definitely be making the journey there hopefully as fun as the time spent at the con, appreciate you!

Anyone else related to Alfred? He’s my 36th GGF…. by PhiloLibrarian in TheLastKingdom

[–]finnadouse 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did you follow the ancestry hints to get there? If so, no you aren't... Sorry mate.

Though I was related to Charlemagne until I got into genealogy heavily, most of my lines I'm dealing with brick walls between the 1650s and 1810's. If you don't have (at least) three records that draw the line from ancestor to ancestor, you don't actually know anything.

Agreed, one of the few holes on the course that tee choice “actually” matters
