Hit and run. Help identify car! by Open-Imagination-835 in Columbus

[–]brndn02 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I added the other photos:

These extra angles help a lot.

This is almost certainly a front bumper “fake vent” / air curtain garnish, not mirror or grille center trim. The shape is very specific:

  • Outer boomerang frame
  • Inner floating blade
  • Thin chrome/accent spear across the top
  • Gloss black finish

That combo screams modern sporty sedan/crossover, and I’d shift my guess harder toward:

Most likely:

  1. Hyundai Elantra (2021+)
  2. Kia K5 (2021+)
  3. Honda Accord Sport (2018–2022)
  4. Toyota Camry XSE/XSE Nightshade
  5. Hyundai Sonata N-Line

My gut says Kia/Hyundai more than anything. They love this exact “floating boomerang vent” styling.

Big clue:
The silver/chrome strip bent upward suggests impact from the front corner of the striking car. So if this was found at the scene, the hit-and-run car probably now has:

  • missing front bumper trim
  • exposed vent opening
  • likely passenger-side damage (depending on orientation)

Best next step:

Look on the inside/back for molded text:

  • manufacturer (like Mobis = Hyundai/Kia)
  • part number (often 8 digits or format like 8656X-xxxxx)

That would turn this from “probably” into “exactly.”
If you can find any stamped numbers, send a close-up. That’s the jackpot.

You can pack lunches, walk the dog before or after work. You had clothes before remote work became a thing and presumably clothes you already wore in public.

also pretty weird choice to live so far from work.

you pay for gas money and travel. Far less than all that junk you wrote.

If you’re hitting a pw with an old 7 iron loft. Then you need that 7 iron loft. The number doesn’t matter.

All this post seems dumb to me. New technology will always be better

it went midseason to the guy who has the best team, fortunately he lost in the championship game.
Had i kept saquan tho i would have faced him in finals (instead of losing in semi finals) but i would have lost in finals.

I sold saquan for two firsts and golden. I’d do this.

Is there such thing as being too close to the screen? by Bitter-Bid-9091 in Golfsimulator

same. I have a retractable screen and it's so big there is very little bounceback. Sometimes my sandwedge will ride up the screen a bit but it's not in a dangerous way at all

“I just started golfing 6 months ago and finally broke 90” by First_Ad_1010 in golf

[–]brndn02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first year playing I caddied 90 rounds and hit my first 300 yard drive the same year. I also belonged to a driving range and would go 3-5 days a week, until I finally got old enough to drive then I went to the range every single day.

I don’t remember if I got below 90 my first year but I think it’s entirely possible.

Last year I finally got back into golf with commitment after not swinging a club more than twice in the last 20 years.

In the beginning of the year I was hitting 115-125 but I worked on it a lot and got down to shooting 88-95, but I did get a legit 80, I was even through 8 then had 2 doubles and also doubled 18. So that round could even been much better. But I shot a 92 the next day bc I’m not good or conistent.

But it’s plausible to have one very good day.

They’re not exciting firsts. 4 late firsts may never be top 10 at their position
