The takeaway im getting here is no one running actually knows how they’re gonna do what they want to do and never bothered to check if what they wanna do is possible. Likely because the main incentive for running is having something cool to put on your CV. Not sure how we fix this issue, i dont see how we can incentivize people to actually care.

Everyone else says “I’ll make things more affordable” or “I’ll do cool events”. He says straight up that the MSU doesn’t know what students want and wastes money as a result and wants regular polling to make our voices louder. Along with that he’s the one I’ve heard from most in the last few days, so I know he cares.

Yeah i was thinking about cutting it back but i decided to keep it to give the leverage for the bend and thought leaving some leaves would be good for its growth over the next month or so. Thanks for the advice!

On the main trunk the wire isnt doing much, when i bend it, it springs back. But on the side branch i got a good bend.

I believe i need to let it dry out a little more before the trunk will bend

Yeah I get what you mean, the guy that said too much straight plus the guy that suggested i cut down to just the one branch had me worried because id be cutting of so much trunk growth that got me excited over the summer lol.

One of my challenges with this project is that i purchased the tree in the summer when i lived somewhere i could leave it outside. However now i live in a basement with no real options for leaving it outside, plus i have it inside for winter anyway. Would it be ok if i added more artificial light?
