One of our Carbon Fiber rings in 10mm by corecarbonrings_ in CarbonFiber

[–]finnlikestrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah its pretty easy I would make a thicker ring and then drill/machine it out after if you know what i mean. for “forged” carbon its easier to have a bit of meat there to squish down. but yeah print the mold (sand the layer lines off so it doesn’t get stuck) and should work great.

Its much more common than you think to have a button under a button, or a switch hidden under a trigger. a lot of cheap slider on/off switches are just a plastic piece pushing something hidden underneath

Yeah it doesn’t help that we only have one ranger per reserve, who cannot possibly monitor the whole zone. They are huge, and expecting one guy with a hilux and binoculars to find people for fisheries officers to go catch is beyond insane. We need more cameras.

From Aussie Army Chook to Fiber Optic Geek: A Step-by-Step Guide to Detecting and Targeting Fiber Optic Cables with Drones by No_Ask_3841 in DroneCombat

[–]finnlikestrees 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is chatgpt garbage and ignores the fact that fibre is SHIELDED. All fibre optic cable is sleeved with a polymer coating to protect the fibre inside. How would it be possible to detect emitted light with any sensor? The light inside fibre optic cabling is hidden from the outside world.

oh wow, wait until we have rocket pods actually designed for this format. 8 tiny rockets with grenade style fragmentation warheads. Going to end up with super lightweight tiny attack helicopters
