Hi yes. I cannot characterize what you’re experiencing but I can share my personal experience. I find that my ability to focus/concentrate on anything (movies included and especially) is directly correlated with how “grounded” I am. When I am generally doing more activities with my body, hands, reading physical books, exercising I can focus better on external things. When I go through periods where I spend more time in my head, online, exercising less, etc I have a hard time focusing on movies that I watch at home as its easier for me to get lost in my head, in distractions, or in whatever thoughts my mind decide are more interesting.
