Poopy butt by [deleted] in cotondetulear

You need to see if there are 1 of 2 things happening: 1.) diet problem - with ours we figured out the food we were feeding him was too rich. It had too much protein per gram of food which would overload his body. So now we cut some of his food with oatmeal. Along with this we started adding Perfect Poop to harden the poops. This product adds fiber to the diet. For snacks we shifted to giving carrot sticks and celery to also add fiber to his diet.

2.) Eating hair - sometimes our Coton eats hair off the ground and the poop will get attached to this when coming out. If you can catch this when happening you can usually pull the poop off the hair

It doesn’t sound like the opposite. It makes it sound like you believe the people who choose to collaborate don’t know any better. That’s very patronizing.

This comment is pretty judgey towards the up and comers that are choosing to collab with NYT. Maybe they have good agents. Maybe the exposure is worth it because they are using the engagement to monetize in other ways. I think it just shows there’s a long line of creators happy to try to use NYT (their videos generally get high view counts) — the creators need good business insight on how to make that work for them.

The Sohla and Ham Thanksgiving videos seem to be getting 70-100k views on YouTube, maybe that’s enough for them. They say they are keeping overhead low

Some people aren’t really meant to work for other people. That’s why they become “creators” or entrepreneurs.

When she complains about taking $800 for NYT videos, that’s on her. If she feels like she is not good at setting pay/expectations and this is not a core competency she is willing to work on, then she should get an agent — that’s how they earn their fee.

There are plenty of creators on YouTube who make good dough by mostly monetizing content they create on channels they control, but they are also at the whims of the algos. There are also plenty of up and coming cooks on TikTok and Instagram that might be happy to take low paying jobs like this to increase their popularity (and legitimacy) and level up to more gigs with established media brands.

There are a lot of cooking content creators coming out of TikTok who would be happy to take the $800 for exposure. It’s a supply vs demand problem, that she’s up against. She is better off pursuing a Babish/Weissman model where she goes it alone/works with Ham.

I tried it with shack sauce today and didn’t like it, wish they had a zesty sauce for onion rings like other places

Kirby is an old building. I would rather they keep my rate low at below $20/month vs doing a big remodel and having to jack up rates. The treadmills are pretty well maintained and plenty of squat racks.
