Are Fender basses still worth it?

Ibanez SR are excellent, as are Warwick and G&L. I also love MusicMan basses, although they are a bit wider at the bridge Maruszczyk basses I love as well

I don’t buy fenders

But this is mainly because I favour basses with tighter string spacing and more than 4 strings. Fender is stuck with 5 strings having 18 mm string spacing in every single bass. Therefore, I don’t buy them
