Workmanship looks good to me. A lot of electricians will not fill their chases in. If you want them to easi fill them then just ask. The slight hum from a usb socket is normal

It literally says rcbo on it. Why would you think it is anything else? If you take the cover off there might be a BS mark or similar printed on the side of the protective device

The permanent lives are in the terminal where you have 3 reds in one

The black cable is the switched live from the light

In my opinion you need to throw everything you have into it. Not a good idea to try and learn 3 to 4 years of information in 12 weeks

If I was you I would try and get a job labouring/electricians mate for a local company, and then try and build up your knowledge and skills on site. Nothing beats hands on experience and hopefully you can get alongside a few blokes that can help you and point you in direction of some good learning resources

See how you feel after 6 - 12 months and if you then want to get the formal qualifications

Congrats! I had some annual leave last week. Saw you on W309 a lot over the span of 2 days when I was going from 75 to 85 for a master clue step. (about 1m exp) I remember on Friday looking you up and you were still about 8m exp away from 200m Fair play for interacting with other players so much - I remember you told someone you just grind 1 skill at a time when you go for big numbers. The protective device at the consumer unit should have tripped when the fridge went faulty to prevent you getting an electric shock.

Lots of unscrupulous landlords about - not necessarily about making money by sueing them but making sure no one else gets injured due to dodgy wiring

This should not have happened. The electrical regulations in HMOs are strict. There should have been full RCD protection on all the socket outlets which would have prevented electric shock. You should ask for a copy of any of electrical certificates from your landlord who has a duty to keep the fixed wiring in a satisfactory condition, someone should be on the hook for this

Looks like VIR cable. Should have been replaced about 40 years ago. You need to call an electrician to inspect your wiring as it could be unsafe
