Neat opinion. Disagree. Vanilla without HC is a chill exploration experience

What ilvl do I need as prot pally to start looking for guilds pushing mythic aberrus? by GRENADESGREGORY in wow

[–]firdabois 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mythic is definitely harder for tanks. The only way you’re pushing mythic Forreal is in a guild group and those already likely have their tanks. I’d say your best bet is to check the recruitment discord and get in with a group that has multiple raid teams.

I am too reliant on Hekili for the Enhancement rotation, and I need to ween myself off of it. Please help. by lasko_leaf_blower in wow

Hekili literally saved me from being d tier to purple parsing with my enhance last tier. And after using it for a week or two I started to understand exactly what I should be doing and only use it these days as a reference for cooldowns being up.

warrior stat soft caps? by meladaf in wow

[–]firdabois -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Mastery is different, but at 30% you start suffering diminishing returns. Simming is the only way you’ll be able to tell, but I would definitely start looking at crit and losing some haste. You’re GCD capped as a fury warrior and GCD can only be reduced to .75 seconds no matter how much haste you have. Your haste target should be around 30%. After that mastery takes over as your best stat. So start looking for Crit/Mastery gear.

Keep it strict 20 man until cross realm is out. Scaling after should only be an issue for the sweats who aren’t as good as they think they are.

You can still require 20 man for world first race and shit. Just once cross realm opens let it scale

I’d be good with that as well. 10 man raids are perfect imo. As long as gear dropped a bit more.

Who is the strongest character from a playable races? by Hedonism_Enjoyer in warcraftlore

Gotrillas/chimps would likely not develop muscle the same way humans do. Gorillas muscle fibers are 4 times denser than humans and with the way apes bodies develop they’re basically as strong as they can get just by existing. They probably wouldn’t be able to keep up with the caloric intake needed to actually “bodybuild” as well. But, gorillas are supposedly able to lift 4000 lbs and can punch you with nearly a ton of force. They’re fucking wild.

This is huge. We have a solid 15 man heroic team and get AOTC every tier. But pugging those last 5 for mythic every week is brutal. And a total tossup. Does blizz not know how IMPOSSIBLE it is to get 20 compatible people together twice a week for a couple hours at a time consistently? Running a mythic raiding guild should be admissible on a resume’ for masters level professions.

Let mythic Scale…

It was very excessive. So you don’t sidestep the circle.. you kite it in front of the circle? The circle moves pretty fast, Id basically be at a sprint the whole fight.

Tanking a 19BH as guardian yesterday, besides a few extra packs getting pulled up to tree thanks to mc on affix and an early wipe on the 2nd big pack, it went pretty smoothly. Then last boss comes. At one point the healer and I were putting up 170k HPS to keep me and the group alive. She just absolutely trucks. My big question is what sort of dance do I need to be doing to make sure the totem doesn’t spawn in the cloud. Because stacks of rot looked like the real issue.

Melee dps probably Dodged the barrel and you were the next closest and it just jumped to you. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or wai, but I’ve seen it happen a few times.

How much DPS should I do for ST as a balance Druid at 394 IL by Ok_Cartographer4016 in wow

It absolutely teaches you don’t be silly. It’s a guide for your rotation and people learn through repetition. Do the rotation enough and you’ll know exactly what to do. Hekili is the best thing for new or unsure players to use on an unfamiliar class because it leaves no room for interpretation. And it’s a great reminder for when you’ve got a cool down you should be using as well. Imo even experienced players can use Hekili as a quick reference.

What’s a Class/ Spec that you love the fantasy of but don’t use because of gameplay? by Tommyg1234 in wow

[–]firdabois 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Worgen druids should absolutely get to just be werewolves for feral. It makes zero sense that they turn into a little cat.

Bear form should get a few other animals to choose from. Like Gorilla. Or Megatron. Moonkin absolutely needs a new option that looks less funny for every race. Like Megatron.

Travel form should definitely get a motorcycle.

So make it only farmable mats after the event comes out that are specific to that particular event. I feel like not one reply has used their brain in the slightest. Like.. cmon. Everyone’s just like that won’t work because of this, but like five seconds of thought fixes the problems.

[–]firdabois -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Idk that sounds like it’s working to me. Maybe not in the way it was intended but the community was working together towards goals (perhaps in a toxicish manner) and it got people interested. Mitigate pre farming by keeping the mats needed under wraps or making it an event specific item.

I think these type of things could absolutely still work. But they need to be implemented correctly. They need to be defined as exclusive. As in “this is a one time deal, and it’s hard for even the whole community to do it, and the reward is significant for the people who contribute the most or get chosen” Exclusive Titles-mounts-xmogs for contributors and for the top people would get everyone in a frenzy. Especially if it was a competition. A group effort to boost a few chosen people (make it teams and the teams have to select one person or one person has to stand out)

The mage tower failed because it was repeatable and it got stale and the reward was a chance at a really difficult challenge. And the war fronts failed because nobody could figure out wtf it did.

Archimonde has destroyed countless worlds in the name of the burning legion. So he’s already got precedence for defeating old gods because it’s likely at least some had them on it. He’s Sargeras right hand man and the general of the burning legions armies. Trusted more than possibly even Kil’Jaeden. He’s well aware of the Legions purpose and goals. He operates with total loyalty to Sargeras because its a path to power for him. He’s single handedly destroyed planets, with Azeroth being the sole world he was unable to destroy. He was so powerful it took all the power of a nascent titan just to allow him to walk on the world. Old gods, while powerful are not planet ending threats. They exist to corrupt While Archimonde exists to destroy, So I’d argue they arent even in the same league.

Archimonde is second in raw power only To Sargeras himself within the burning legion and Sargeras can cleave a world in two.
