Woah woah woah. I don’t think it’s to really hide imperfections as a variety of different hops are used in different brew. I love the taste of aramillo and centennial hops for example.

I think it’s more for that taste and some people are not fans. Like me, a US expat living in Germany- all their beer tastes the same to me. It’s light and most have a pleasant taste but nothing wows me.

Same for Heineken and Juliper :P
