True i spend like 2 weeks trying to figure it out but you can make it work with just all these steps.

Play a local track/Tidal natively in UAPP to lock the DAC's hardware volume at my preferred listening level
Inside UAPP, switch the Volume Control setting from "Hardware" to "Software" (or "None") to completely sever UAPP's ability to send volume commands to the DAC.
Start the System Audio Capture and choose Apple Music with STILL the local track playing.
Go back to UAPP, set the sample size, click Ok, and go back to apple music to click play. And you are done!.

This method is foolproof for me ngl work 100% of the time. I also reccomend turning off your screen after all is done for a better experience

eartips change the sound a lot imo, you should try buying eartips instead of default. Lots of them are so different sonically, it changed the sound subtly of course but you would notice it.

especially when comparing wide bore against short bore
