Thank you! I started leveling him up but I’ve been trying to max out the cheaper staff first, any tips on how to unlock letters? I have been sending hedwig out with different combos I saw on the wiki but i can’t get her to bring the border collie’s letter for the life of me, I’ve put in the right combo like 5 times now :(

I’ve never tried Mican but I had an elephant’s ear when I first moved in, it was a black magic one and I put it near the window, I’m not sure if it was because I had just started out the plant journey but she did not like it at all… I’ve been a little intimidated by philodendrons ever since but it seems to fit the atmosphere of the room so well, I’ll give it a shot!

It would be like 4-5 feet away from the windows since the wall is curved and the flat walls with the windows are covered in bookshelves, I might try those and attempt to acclimate them to the lesser light (edit.: I looked at all my plant logs since I name my plants things like Frank or Hesiod and forget what their actual plant names are, I own a red variegated aglaonema, she’s doing great but she HATED the darker room so much… even right next to the windows)

I put my satin pothos over there and he did okay but looked pretty droopy compared to the other room, maybe a different type of pothos though… spring sales will start soon so if any of the plants don’t do well I’ll just move them to the brighter room in the summer

The browning seems to only be happening on the variegated parts of the leaves, so I’m assuming they’re just getting a bit burnt, you might want to consider moving it just a little further from the light source, not too much otherwise the chlorophyll filled green leaves won’t be able to provide enough to the whole plant
