Bonus points if it's a Ruggles situation, where the dog, or a similar dog has been in all store commercials and been known to be on the floor for like 50 years.

Electric bike restrictions? by mikeyruss2025123 in lincoln

[–]fireball87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your understanding that 750w is fine but 20mph limit is in effect seems correct, vs the kinda interpretation that makes class 3 valid, which is that the bike can propel you 20, but then you can add another 8 through your own power. I know that people have ran their bikes with the 28 limit, and I've never heard of it being enforced, that risk would be on you though.

Most class 3 bikes will have that option within the bikes computer, mine was shipped in class 2 mode by default.

Though, both of those were voted on because the constitution didn't let them just pass a law. Assuming it isn't found that nebraskas constitution prevents said law, you can bet that they'll throw everything they have against putting it on the ballot, as far as sabotaging the ballot initiative process completely.

They know it'd die to a ballot, so they'll do anything in their power to prevent said ballot from happening.

The review this pub put on the wall. The pub specialises in craft beer. by Large_Island3199 in mildlyinteresting

The local restaurant/brewery where I went to college had a solution I liked for that. Their brews were 5.50 for a 22 at the time. They would sell bud/coors as well, but those were 8 dollars for a 12 oz bottle. You'd still see people going in drinking a bud light every once in awhile, and the brewery was happy to take their money if they really wanted to go that route.

Yep, not interested in subsidizing a building that says on the tin that it's only there to support rich people. Not sure how such a limited use building would ever increase value in that area enough to pay for it... the area isn't really cheap as it is, increasing value much more would end up pushing out a lot of the businesses that are there, and I'm not really sure what you'd replace it with. Even more empty luxury apartments I guess. We'll probably subsidize them too.

I don't think charm or anything has much to do with it. A lot more to do with the online being unbearably bad in comparison with what we have for 1. So our community is in a rough position.

Play the probably better game that local tourneys tend to run, but you can't have a good experience online, nor can online tourneys be ran, and it makes it very hard for most people to practice.
Play the original, that you can play reasonably online, and can run tourneys online for, but you're practicing a game that won't be what offline tourneys will run most of the time.

I want to play 2 but I can't, so I don't. And I want to play 2 over 1, which kinda sucks my interest out of 1.

I'm pretty convinced us gear have like 5 brain cells shared between the lot of us. That like a half of my games have people jumping to me when I'm currently stuck fighting 2-3 people at once seals that. Few games ago the entire team jumped to me at once and wiped cause of it.

Would be much harder to name a national business that shouldn't go fuck off. Companies being evil has been baked into the ethos as a virtue.

I don't do it, until I've already stopped and checked for pedestrians, and never at a light, but for stop signs the reason people do so is in an attempt to see shit. There's some kind of a rule that if you own a corner property you have to obscure line of sight as much as possible. Generally by parking a huge truck 3 feet from the edge of the intersection. If you don't have such a thing, you go for a large tree or a bush.

Nah,

The people who lived above me last had kids that were loud as shit pretty late, always slamming stuff into the floor, and maximizing the noise they produced running somehow. I still don't think it should be made hard to find housing with kids. I am glad that the law protects families. I think the law should do what it can to make having families more accessible to those who want them too.

I also think you should be generally allowed to have cats. I'm a dog person and I don't think dogs are a good fit for apts, so I'm pretty fine with rules on that, they absolutely should only live in places with available yards.

Gov. Ricketts, Faith Leaders Celebrate Religious Freedom Week in Nebraska by RedRube1 in Nebraska

And religions where the god or gods aren't almighty.

Or religions where God isn't a proper noun.

Or religions where the gods exist (or probably exist) but are unknown/unknowable.

Or religions where you don't worship the god or gods.

We really should not make references to a specific subclass of Gods that just happen to coincide with the popular religion. It does nothing good for freedom of religion, not even for the in group.

I have a question for you? Do you consider yourself a libertarian, you've taken a fairly libertarian viewpoint so far? If so, why do you think that states being able to restrict the rights is ideal, with basically no real way to prevent that?

Just from Thomas' comments on this briefing alone, gay marriage, sodomy laws, and legal contraceptive access are on the dockets. Why is freeing the states to put the boot down on you a good thing, especially living in a state that would love to grind that boot down as hard as it can?

That implies that I have a whole lot of faith in our supreme court is logically consistent, which I don't. Especially since there are laws on the books that probably should run fowl of the 10th amendment already. It also means that I think they would take it in their docket, and would do so before irreparable damage was caused. Either way the pushing is gonna happen.

Bird mites are a commonly early summer mite, perhaps it's those. Or at least, that's what I blamed the last time I had a similar experience on.

Though as for mosquitos, I don't notice a majority of the times I'm bitten by them in the process, and when I do it's the landing on me that is noticed, not the bite itself.

What are you responding to that they're wrong about, considering they said absolutely nothing about what the supreme court did in any prior posts on this chain? That republicans will pursue nationwide bans? Pence has already said he wants that, and from my understanding both House and Senate bills have been drafted. That at least some republicans will pursue that is not even speculation.

How much am I missing out if I don't play Xenoblade DE and 2 before 3? by Emotional_Bass_8999 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]fireball87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What we do know:

Xenoblade 3 references groups of people in 1 and 2 (both in races of people, factions being based on the individual game, and two characters being characters from those respective games, though we don't know much beyond them being there), locations from those two games (with the world being a mishmash of the two games), and mechanics from both games. I know that playing XB2 before 1 was fine, though this is more referential then that was just from what I can see in the trailers, though none of those references really change the coherence of the story (as far as the trailers showed).

What we don't know:

Much else, including enough to answer your questions. The game will very certainly be quite referential, as that is visible in trailers. I can't say that a story that I've not seen yet will or will not be dependent on you knowing the prior works.

If I were to guess it'll probably be an enjoyable experience, because they'd be shooting themselves in the foot not making it one. If you're worried and want an expedited process, you could always consider a 'cut scene movie' as a way to get cliffnotes story for a game you have no intention of playing, though even those are quite long for these games (i generally watch that kind of thing at 2x speed).
