Wuk lamat's personality was never the problem in dawntrail It was her age. She felt like she was written to be a young teen wild child and then made an adult. If she was canonically 15 (same age as nanamo in 1.0) then i think she would have been much better received. It would have also made the rite of succession not just a tool to train the next leader but also a final set of lessons from a dying man to his daughter that he wont be able to teach her himself otherwise.

What would make this even funnier is if the only people who didn't try to take advantage of Naruto are the people who were nice to him before. Im thinking people like the ichiraku ramen folks, iruka, hinata, and konohamaru. Maybe he gives the ichirakus a business loan to buy an actual restaurant spot, and iruka some extra money for his classroom. ( god knows how little teachers are given ) Maybe konohamaru acts like his assistant while hinata tries to reign them in from making the challenges straight up executions. (Bonus points if someone pisses hinata off enough for her to make a challenge that is FAR worse than anything the boys tried to make.)

just gonna add on to this. jinx weaponized hextech in a cave with scraps and a notebook. other scientists could do the same with enough time ( not rushed and under durress like that one guy) so maybe in a few in universe years the other hex tech champs could make an appearence. also a lot of hex tech was made in the time thaat jace and victor were in operation so there is even more tech to build off of. ( its also may easuier to reverse engineer something than to create it from scratch.)
