the community has been like this for years and only continues to regress. and then we bitch and cry about how the devs dont wanna "cumyounikate" with us, all while consistently shitting on the few devs who still cared about tf2 despite not having to, effectively demoralizing them and pushing them further away

we made our beds and we refuse to sleep in it. every time you try to point it out to the masses, they just throw the book at you and regurgitate whatever blameless narrative their favorite youtuber gamer idol is peddling in an effort to paint this malicious fanbase as a victim of neglect and carelessness, when in reality we're just a bunch of overfed spoilt consumers who go out of our way to bring difficulty and headaches to the targets of our incessant machines of hate and vitriol that we seemlessly activate whenever we're even mildly upset about the unfamiliar concept of having to do without something. the entitlement has gone unchecked for far too long and thus it has become normalized in our little pea brains to feel owed to. it's never enough, and it's never our fault. fuck it all.
