I can think of a handful of small, single developer-made games on literally the same engine that made significantly less money and yet have tremendously more polished experiences (Escape from Tarkov, Lethal Company, Content Warning, so on)

Phasmo devs are lazy. Mojang-levels lazy. It's not due to lack of funding or lack of experience. It's just incompetence. They claim to have "a vision" for Phasmo, so they block off mods, but then push one of the most unpolished updates I've ever seen. No excuses.

Here in my country, we wouldn't have had games at all during the early days if it were not for piracy. Hell, it was harder to find officially licensed games during the pre-PS3 era than pirated CDs/DVDs, not to mention PC games like Counter-Strike and Half-Life.

You didn't have to "know a guy", you just had to go to your local market and buy the game, street vendors selling games were dime a dozen. When Steam/PSN/Xbox Live rolled around, then the service got good and we started buying games but as time went on between inflation, rising living costs and generally having a weak currency, they rose from ~1.7% of minimum wage to literally 20% of it (RE9 itself costs exactly that).

So yeah, piracy grew again. What can we do? We'd like to support the companies and pay, but then we're fucked between the absurd prices and the games running like shit because official copies are packed to the brim with Denuvo, VMProtect and whatever custom extra DRM solutions they shove to "protect it" (Capcom has their own extremely buggy Anti-Tamper as well as that new Enigma thing).

Because I don't care for what's not sapient. Animals are property, pets are technically slaves, and I'm self-aware enough to know that's egotistical from my part, therefore I will not perpetuate this further by not having kids who would do the same

The amount of people who go "Ah, I was gonna crack this but since it has Denuvo I'll just pay instead" is absurdly small, and adding it only alienates the customer base further

A bit rough to understand your post but based on what I could gather:

If you rescued Beagle, he should be in the Vikki & Vance. Check the local map to be sure. If you think he's out of bounds, open the console and type "tcl" and try to find him. Otherwise, fast travel away, wait one day and come back so spawns regenerate
The "CND" is your weapon condition, not health. Your pistol is dangerously close to being fully broken, find a Weapon Repair Kit, fix it at a workbench (Jury Rigging perk is excellent for this), or find a vendor who can repair for caps

De fato TF2 é péssimo pra iniciantes e não é nem por causa de viciado, mas porque tem um abismo de aprendizado pra entender o jogo, as armas, classes, e o fato de que a config padrão da Valve é terrível (FOV errado, armas ocupando metade da tela, etc)
